Ryan Brierley leaving the club ?? Salford, Warrington, Wakefield all interested in him , been posted on a number of forums, just wanted to know if there was any truth in this, i know he is a big salford fan so just wanted it clearing up, would be great if he came to us at least we would have a half back who wanted to play for us

Someone on one of the other boards trying to start rumours that he's had a fall out with Cas though?

Always seemed to speak very highly of Steve Gill & Tim Rumford though.

No fall out whatsoever,ryan loves it at cas.

You sure your not getting mixed up with the young wakey half back,who allegedly had a fall out.

There is rumours doing the rounds that he is leaving for wakefield next season. Not sure how true they are but i would'nt dismiss them.

Not a mix-up on my part, just repeating what someone had posted on another forum. Maybe that's where their confusion came from though ... or maybe someone is trying to unsettle young Ryan - I know other clubs have shown an interest.

I think its rubbish, got told that we we were getting southernwood and it wouldnt suprise me if that rumour was started for the same reasons as this one.

could you imagine if we were to get southerwood though, that would be an awesome halve pairing and if it were to progress to the senior side would be brilliant for the club

He was there t'other friday for the cas game on waterboy duty,he was stood in the shed with his cas trackie on!



I think its more a case of "Chinese whispers" really,it starts off with a thread about clubs being interested in him(which is true) and ends up he has fallen out and is leaving.

And has for unsettling him,not a chance,he has ice running through his vains that boy!

He knows he needs to keep his head down and carry on working hard.
