Heard rumblings that cas are offering richie a new deal which if correct is a totally unacceptable offer of less money than he is currently on now to stay with us!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If this is true which i cannot say can be confirmed we look like losing 2 of our best youngsters boyle and owen and with chase prob going at end of next year we could be going backwards.

Cas BOD should be reawarding the outsanding performers like richie and to a certain extent boyle when he has played with deals that represent what they are worth and not try and keep them on cheap these days young english players will be worth more with quoter reducing.

PLEASE CAS BOD PAY THEM WHAT THEY WORTH or risk them going to likes of leeds saints etc.

Also if rumours of the supposed offer of 120k to brad drew for 1 year. Id not sign it and give it to owen and boyle local lads that wana play for us not just for the money.

Owen rejected the first offer, but that happens in NEGOTIATIONS. Drew wont be on anything near 120k.

I'll believe these things when they are confirmed officially. But until then rumours is all they are.

The Cas directors aren't the best when it comes to contract negotiations, that is well know. But I do not for one second believe they would be stupid enough to offer Richard Owen LESS money stipulated in a contract he signed before he played for the 1st team week in, week out. If you believe a rumour like that you have the brain power of an ameba thats just had a huge stroke.

I can confirm you are wrong, The club made Richard an improved offer, But this is going to be his first real contract after showing his potential, He still has a year left and isnt in any hurry to sign a deal that is short of his worth. He does have another year left and the club are very sure they will get it sorted -- Negotiations take time though

As for Drew and Martin - Apparently the club havent spoken to either, According to an employee - Which is hard to beleive baring in mind the amount of publicity

Very true, The club making him an offer in the first place shows they are keen not to hang around, Rich knows what he is worth, And the club will have to come to this and agree with him - its only a matter of time i am sure

They are eager to keep all our main assets at the club for as long as possible

Well i spoke to a contact who is bemused as to where the rumour has been thought up from, I presume its agent talk - As wakey are trying to release some of their players on decent wages - I would be surprised if they played for us next year - but i was shot down in flames on teh other forum for saying that the other day haha

Drew and Martin are OOC at end of season,so Wakey dont have to try that hard to be rid of their wages.

Richie Owen will stay at cas I spoke to friends of his family who have said that Richie will be staying he still has another year left on his contract so hes not panicking about the length of time its taking to negotiate a new deal.

i just hope leeds dont come sniffing round at the end of next season and end up getting him for free
