| Just been reading the Hull KR forum and the name Kenny Hill sprung to my attention on a thread.
Do any Cas fans remember him and have any idea where he ended up?
He was rated as a hot prospect as a teenager, was a first team regular as a youngster and captained GB Under-21's. Then he just seemed to vanish!?
Just wondered what happened to the guy.
I believe he played in the same Cas junior side a one of Batley's former players, Phil Mirfin. Top player Phil, and another good prospect for Cas until a bad knee injury halted his progress as a youngster.

Think Kenny did a stint inside at one point, but not sure what he's up to these days.

| saw him a couple of year ago, hed done a stint inside, bad for the ale but realy bad for the drugs looked a shadow of his former self. kenny was a good player, a good lad and loved a laugh, a case of losing his way i suppose. asked a friend if he was still in fev and he said yes but still off the rails. a gifted player who wont be the first or last at throwing it all away.

| I think he ended up on tv dressed as a milkman being chased around by scantily clad women, to a rather catchy theme tune

| A wasted talent.
Played 3 times at hooker for GB Under-21s in 1988 and 1989 but never really went on to establish himself in the Cas pack as he should have.
Hooker in the replayed 1987 Yorkshire Cup final defeat by Bradford but, to be fair, was in competition with such as Kev Beardmore at the time.

| I see Kenny quite regularly through, ahem, work and can tell you he's ruined his life with drink and drugs. Can't stay out of trouble, but still has a good rig on him, it must come naturally though as he treats his body like crap. It's a shame to see people throw away what was once a life of promise.
