Excellent news. Brett's a good asset for the club. The odd brain fart but he's still young and with experience I'd hope these will disappear from his game.

It would be good to be able to reunite the Cas trio of Ferres, Shenton and Owen on the left.

In general we have a lot of young players and keeping them all together to develop as a team can only be a good thing.

I would like to think so, but I just can't see him committing at the moment. Would be fantastic news IMO.

I thought Chase was on a two year contract ?

He is, hence I'd agree with Legionited that we'll see nothing on that front imminently.

However, if he continues to impress it would be nice to have him signed up for another couple well before this time next year.

Aye, thats the point I've made elsewhere. We've signed an aging, past it Aussie (Widders) on a 3yr deal whilst only signing Chase for 2. Then again, maybe Chase didn't want to commit for too long to begin with.
