| I wish Luke Burgess a speedy recovery. Leeds were far better than us and it showed.

| Quote ="who needs flankers?"Leeds had a far superior defence last night. Almost unbreakable. They played right on the edge of being legal and illegal and we could learn a lot from them
.
1. Breaking away from the scrum, Leeds did this lightning quick (although a little early IMO)
2. Diskin and McShane were a yard offside at virtually every tackle but didn't get caught. Why? because they were clever with it. If the ref wasn't looking they carried on, if he looked they let the line catch up with them.
3. Senior slowing down the play of the ball with some bizzare greek wrestling technique by laying on top of the grounded player and spinning on his stomach about 180 degrees. Weird but effective.
4. JJB interference at the play of the ball every time he made a tackle. Pretty blatent but got away with it.
Apart from the JJB one which the ref should have seen, the rest were basically well coached and you have to admire it, so why the hell don't we do the same?
One thing for the Leeds fans, does McShane always run like he has messed his pants? Had me in stitches every time he ran.'"
So it was the Ref's fault?
Anyone care to answer me why there was big cheers when JP went down?

But he picked up on infringements that the Ref didn't. Thus meaning the ref was at fault.
But those cheers shouldn't be happening, love Leeds or hate Leeds (or any team for that matter) you should have enough respect for the 17 opposing warriors on the pitch not to cheer and enjoy when they get injured.

| Quote ="gpartin"some of your fans were disgraceful it didn't take a genius to see he was in a bad way yet there were still comments being shouted out and chants going on when the bloke was having a neckbrace put on and a stretcher had been brought out. Instead of having a go at someone for stating facts you want to open your eyes and ears and you'll realise that this growing minority of idiots will drag your club out of Super League, the decent fans will suffer for it but at least those morons will probably never be seen again. Well done to those who kept quiet while he was being dealt with and clearly most fans applauded Burgess when he went off but its time to start making a stand against these so called fans instead of denying their existence. I've defended Cas fans loads in the past,my grandparents are from Cas and I think the locals are a decent bunch, I really don't want you to go down but there were a significant number of people behaving like scumbags tonight and I'm surprised more people haven't mentioned it.'"

So stop with the childish posturing and holier than thou attitude. Every club has fans that cheer when one of the opposing team goes down, as long as they are relatively ok, what's the problem?

It shouldn't happen. Agreed they do. But i'd estimate about 80% of your 6000 fans in attendance on Fri cheered. Not good enough.

| What a pathetic set of posts Sam Buca. Firstly, the highlighting of what the ref mist wasn't a complaint, it was to praise Leeds on pushing the rules, boundaries and referee. If you can get away with holding down a second longer, do so. If you can get away with being offside a little, do it. So long as you aren't getting penalised for it all the time then push it. It shows players and coaches using their brains.
I can't believe people are still on about Luke's injury and making out the Cas fans are all hooligans. Johnny celebrated the big hit, not the injury. The Cas fans celebrated the big hit, not the injury. It happens by players and fans all over our sport and is part of our game and isn't anything bad. Both Johnny and the fans showed Luke the respect he deserved after that initial few moments. People are trying to make something out of nothing yet again and it makes those people just look silly and clueless about the game. In fact it makes those people sound like they only started watching the game AFTER Leeds recent successes and have no clue about the game.

So what do you think continuously posting the same message on message board is going to achieve other than to wind the users up on there or to satisfy some kind of weird ego trip that you are on.
Perhaps you could hand out leaflets at every game asking the fans if they wouldn't mind awfully not cheering when a player gets injured or start a facebook group

| =#0080FFTo be honest, I thought some of the chanting when Burgess was down was way out of order.
I missed the incident as I was checking the Crusaders score on my phone but heard the crowd as soon as the hit went in and saw Sarge and Walker high fiving each other and then LB was on his knees and I just presumed he'd been smashed and was winded. At this point the injury didn't look all that serious to me and I presumed LB would get up and carry on when he'd got his breath back.
Cas fans, myself included, were chanting "One Johnny Walker" at this point (He's a young lad and putting a big hit in is good for morale so I thought that was fair enough) and I watched the replays on the big screen but couldn't really see the clash of heads that well. By this point LB was now laying down and there was quite a lot of medical staff taking care of him, this is when it became clear to me that it was serious.
As soon as it became apparent that it was a serious injury, this is when the chanting should have ceased. Fans should have more respect than to continue singing songs IMO. Sure, none of them were aimed at LB as such, but there's a line and I think some fans crossed it.
The chanting directed at Senior was absolutely pathetic.
He's just helped his team destroy ours and you have people singing "If you hate Keith Senior clap your hands" Yeah, that's REALLY going to wind him up.
Having seen the hit on Sky, I don't think there was anything wrong with it, certainly not an illegal tackle. I don't think there was anything wrong with Walker celebrating the hit straight after he did it either, he didn't continue celebrating when he realised the seriousness of the injury. I also don't think there was anything wrong with the fans chanting immediately after the hit, it was the only thing we had to sing about all night.
However, I won't defend the chanting that went on when it was clear that something serious was wrong with LB.
