Briers is one of the best 6/7's in the league, Harrison is one of the best young forwards in superleague, Solomona is the best offloader in super league and sets up lot's of tries.

| Has Gaslight bin sniffing glue again.
Riley is better then Wainwright (look at the tries stats)
Atkins is better then Evans and Shenton (compare stats)
Briers is one of best readers of the game/cleverist and still one of the best halfbacks in SL.
Grix is a decent versatile squad player who would walk into a Cas team
Harrison is alot better than Westerman, future star is this kid, wait and see
Solomona is probably one of the best free signings of the decade, changes a game on his own, best readers and offloader in the game. Sheer strength, power and creativity to boot.
Higham is alot better than Hudson - very good impact hooker and learning of one of the best in Monas.

Briers is decent but I'd take Chase over him given the choice.

The Atkins one is a bit flawed considering Evans has been out with an injury for the past few months. As for Shenton, he's been off-colour but I still rate him better than Atkins.
Grix wouldn't walk into our team - he'd get a squad spot and would be a bench player.
Harrison and Westerman both have rich potential and both could be in the future England starting 13.
Higham and Hudson are a different type of hooker.

Agree on this one, would rather have Riley than Wainwright
Atkins is better then Evans and Shenton (compare stats) -
That's because Atkins plays for a side in the top 2 whereas Shenny plays for one in 8th (which is why stats are better, Atkins plays with far better players at the side of him to feed him the ball and gets more chances. Shenton could easily be at a big club he just wants to stay with Cas at the minute)
Briers is one of best readers of the game/cleverist and still one of the best halfbacks in SL. -
True
Grix is a decent versatile squad player who would walk into a Cas team -
Wouldn't walk into our side at all
Harrison is alot better than Westerman, future star is this kid, wait and see -
Of course he is, tell me again who's been sniffing glue ? That said i'm sure in Warrington it's classed as normal.
Solomona is probably one of the best free signings of the decade, changes a game on his own, best readers and offloader in the game. Sheer strength, power and creativity to boot. -
No chance is he "one of the best"
Higham is alot better than Hudson - very good impact hooker and learning of one of the best in Monas. -
Toss up. When Hudson is on form he's as good if not better '"

| This is getting boring. Can't we just settle it this way?
Warrington fans think they have a team of superstars and are biased towards their own players.
Cas think they have a good mix of youth and some quality players that are better than players from other teams and are rightly biased towards their own.
Much easier and that way everyone gets on.

And that point contributes in whatsoever to this thread? No one disputed the fact that Warrington had a more consistent and overall better 13 than Cas but we're disputing that some individuals from Cas would make it into the Warrington team.

Warrington have always been the perennial underachievers. But I can understand them getting excited. They are going through probably their brightest period in the Super League era and they do have a mouth-watering team from 1-17 and beyond.
But they need to stop viewing some of those players as world-class and start seeing that key individuals bring out the best in the other players. I'm pretty sure the likes of Shenton, Owen, Chase, Westerman, possibly even Huby too would flourish under the guidance of a world-class coach like Tony Smith and no doubt benefit from playing with quality players too.
