If you hated Cas your actions would show it. They don't. Hating things is not in my nature, however, I wouldn't contribute to a Rugby Union or Football forum because I'm completely disinterested in both.

If as you say you hate Cas and you're not bothered about Cas rumours, you wouldn't keep coming back and contributing. No matter how you dress up your argument, your behaviour is contradicting your words.



I know. I read others' forums too. I don't troll them, however, but I do contribute - very occasionally - with jokes, sometimes with comments (usually try to be positive) and also with memories and stats. Just because I don't contribute regularly to other clubs' forum discussions doesn't mean to say I'm not reading them.

Yes but I do hate Cas, that is the team. Don't mind some of the fans and when rumours come about with something to do with MY club then I will comment

But comparing football to me coming on the Cas forum is barmy. We play Cas this week so of course I will comment on the forum. It's natural.

Plenty of Cas fans who hate us comment on our forum, same with every other team.

The problem is that drew is injured as much if not more than sherwin, rely on one injury prone half back is a risk, relying on two is asking for trouble. I for one hope we retain netherton, at the start of the year when him and hudson were spelled he looked a cracking signing, whne hudson was away and he was forced to take more responsibility he was alot more limited, now hudson back again i have already seen an improvement in him. He is still a young player remember and playing in one of the positions where you have to use your head the most, given time i think he will turn into a very good player.

You implied it's natural to post on the opposing forum. All I was doing was pointing out that perhaps it's not natural. I don't hate the Wakefield club, and I've read the forums but I haven't felt the urge to post.

As far as banter goes, banter is good-natured teasing. It's not something you can do fuelled by hating a club.

Truly hating a team involves doing things like never mentioning their name (calling them things like "That team we don't talk about"icon_wink.gif avoiding everything to do with them (including opposing fans and internet message boards) refusing to wear anything with their team colours on it, not allowing your children to have anything like the team's mascot in the house, driving miles out of your way to avoid looking at the road where their stadium is. Believe me, I've seen people who actually do rubbish like this.

Bantering with opposing fans shows a good-natured rivalry with and not a hatred of their team. Similarly, if you weren't interested, you wouldn't banter. You wouldn't be able to because your disinterest would stop you finding out things to banter about.

Still, as I said, it's whatever floats your boat. It's at least made a change from the usual rumours about players signing or leaving and stadium plans. Marshman, have I drifted this thread enough yet........?

No that is just gay doing them things. I do hate Cas and I love beating them and I like to see Cas lose. It’s always been there way.

It’s not the fans I hate (well come of them I do)as most of them are sound people it’s just the team I hate. I was in wetherspoons before the game at your place and the banter was good and the atmosphere was the best there has ever been before a game.

Honestly Pyeman I wasn't saying get rid of Netherton I was just surmising what the possible outcome would be if Drew did join us and clearly the obvious person to step aside would be Netherton.

I cannot say I see that much in Netherton personally but thats dosen't say much after I initially thought Chase was about as much use as a chocolate fireguard

so will leave the identifying talent to those that know a thing or two about it.

He is a quality player, a hard hitter and always gives 100% effort. If he could remain injury free then he would be an excellent signing for any SL club. His injuries aren't recurring, they seem to be random. Broken ribs, rib cartilidge etc. I'm not sure releasing him (unless we need the cap or quota spot) was the right decision.

Oh i wasnt suggesting you were mate, i'm not sure i'm that great at identifying talent at times i thoughtluke dorn was rubbish the first time i saw him play for cas! But i think there is potential there in netherton, and since he is only young we should give him the chance to realise his potential (as we would almost certainley do if he was a cas lad), i would rather keep him than drew not because at the moment he is a better player, but because he will more than likely spend alot more time on the field than drew who is becoming increasingly injured prone (even though he is an undoubted talent).

This is why i think we should take drews brain and put it in nethertons body
