You said we had a poor following. I didn't think it was bad given the distances involved and the fact it was on a Saturday. I assume people in Twickenham and surrounding areas can read too - so why don't your club provide them with some posters or leaflets to indulge themselves with?

We defo need to target Richmond and Hounslow boroughs much more that we do. that's for sure - most places in London takes around an hour to get to - if that makes sense (its a big place and the traffic is dreadful...)

To be honest, I find it ridiculous that my fellow Broncos fans on here are mocking Castleford's away support. We are the last club to mock someone for lack of support. To be honest, if it wasn't for the Cas fans, there would have been very little atmosphere in the ground. It took until the second half before our supporters decided to open their mouths .

Well considering we have never had a village fete in castleford (well certainly not in my life time) your post is meaningless, village fetes tend to happen in villages not towns. HTH.

Interestingly, the style of rugby London play is traditionally so boring I'm surprised it doesn't appeal to more Union fans, given Union is the dominant code in the area. You can't knock the game as a whole - it's been good to you and the RFL have been persistent with their support. After all you are still in existence despite the fact that a franchise in a different area closer to the heartlands would've probably been more successful in terms of revenue and fans through the turnstiles.

Ah - you seem to be implying that I'm not open to forward thinking, expansion, etc. In reality after 15+ years I'm still struggling to understand why London should be given a Super League place seemingly unconditionally, whilst others are under threat despite owning their own facilities; striving to improve them; averaging much higher average attendances; and engaging much more with the local community for the benefit of both the club and the game. I.e. the many clubs that are much further away from being part of a "Flat Earth Society" than London, in particular in respect to marketing the game and raising awareness of it.

All us London fans are trying to do is buy into the obsession Northern clubs have regarding how many supporters they take to an away match. I'm surprised that nobody has claimed that the flock from Cas out numbered Broncos fans.

You see with a club like yours things like tradition, heritage and local rivalry mean absolutely nothing. It's probably why your fans are so few in number and seem to lack passion for the game (although granted they must have a limited amount as they do turn up to some home games). That considered I can see why you might think we should merge. In reality it would never happen due to the intense rivalry between the clubs and the fans, both of whom do the things I alluded to above in the interests of progress.

Just going back to expansion though, Catalans have made themselves a credible club in Super League despite not having as long to get there. As they're technically your local derby team, maybe we should merge you with them.
