All them places above are quite a big proportion of Leeds! Put it this way, from personal experience I feel far more safer walking around Airdale then I do Gipton! Not that it's a competition!

I suppose it might if you view towns/cities purely on affluence, aesthetics etc and without consideration of history, tradition and sense of community. As someone who'll be traveling up from London tomorrow, can I just say that residents of what is, ateotd, a small provincial town, pretending to some sort of metropolitan sophistication and looking down on Castleford is mildly amusing – a bit like a kitten doing that standing up and raising its paws in attempt to look big thing.
