I'd take Blackmore over Nathaniel, Nathaniel can't dive and slides in on his knees, not good in u20's so certainly wont be in the first team.

Hall is a better prop then second rower too, it's where he played for Manly.

Why would Wire want him? they have Ben Harrison who is doing a great job for them at the moment

How would selling one of our best assets enable us to build a new stadium? More to the point, how do you know what circumstances our new stadium is at? The fans would be angry if we sold our best assets.

We paid nearly 300K for steadman in 1991! With inflation i'd say 750K would be nearer the mark.

We paid £170k for Steadman which would be the equivalent of £383,000 in 2007.

yes we have our own academy and if you look at the academy league you will see as our first team they are doing quite well which can't be said for your teams which in some cases would attract a player of westermans calibre to move from a team in 8th fighting for a play off spot to a team in 2nd fighting for titles?

I think wire would be a great move for Joe and Cas, if we could get say £400k for him i would be more than happy, much happier than maybe half of that in 12 months and nothing in 24.

Before you jump down my throat let me try and explain my reasons.

Ok we would be selling one of our prize assets but as we have seen with shenny the club cant afford to match wages and top players and their expectations of winning silverware. Unfortunatley we are and will be for the next few years a feeder club in which our best talent will keep getting cherry picked by the big money teams until we can compete in monatary terms which will go hand in hand with the team improving and us keeping our prized talent.

We cant blame these kids wanting to move on to improve. I'm not by any means saying Joe wants to go, but could you blame him really if he did?

I hope your not including the U20s in that. That counts for nothing except squad depth. Robers and Feka have spent most of the season in that competition.

The Cas under 20s are full of under 18s and the under 18s team are lucky if they can grow bum fluff yet they are still able to compete against generally older opposition.
