TBH RL clubs such as ours are in no position to decline such interest even things we are probably the most likely to be shanked.
Fortunately the RFL none of whom I would employ in any directorial capacity anywhere, are their to save us from ourselves, unsuitable suitors and ensure fair play!!!!

We should realise the SL game has changed recently. Without a major benefactor there is simply no place for us at the top table. In a couple of years superleague will be run by 12 or 14 wealthy people. Men like Pearson, Moran, Davey, Hetherington and Lenaghan. Unfortunately thats the way the game is heading and if we want to be part of it we must accept this.

Cas Tigers as a club are still been held back by various forces. Fans are staying away not just because of a poor season on the field but because of disallusionment with the BOD and more inportantly fans cannot see any direction for our club.

Its time for change and we could go down one of 2 routes. Firstly we can accept major investment as I have described above or we could put the onus squarely with the fans. I have a feeling that Tuesday's meeting with the fans will indicate the latter and not the former and this route will only see us keep our heads above water a little longer.

AFAIK AG is the clubs sole owner, however there are now about 4-5 directors.

What about shareholders ?

Would be limited to those mentioned at the most I would assume.

Glover and Elston are the 2 sole registered directors .The other/s recently announced may be associate director/s who hold no "director" responsibilities (cas have 2 or 3 )

Glover has 95% and Elston 5% shareholdings

I'm sure AG would be willing to welcome investors onto the board,. Trouble is good ones are a bit thin on the ground.

Why, the club name is used more than the representetive town or city name, single ownership is the preferred model when using franchising.
Look at the NFL, it's the perfect model for franchising and clubs sometime move ownership and location when failing or financial benefits are possible.
Personally, I don't think it works in British sport, particularly in RLs case, and it certainly doesn't achieve what the franchising was set out to do, create sustainable we'll run clubs.
