Got to be honest and say I think the best team lost tonight, well played Cas.

I echo many of the comments above, and thoroughly enjoyed watching the lads really getting 'stuck in' last night! A fantastic 'team based'.....never say die attitude. Just what Cas and all RL fans love to see!

The only down side was Emmitt being taken off injured. That lad really is a work horse, both in tackling and driving the ball in. Fingers crossed that it is only minor.

WRONG! I was there. As were a couple of hundred others, who I seem to remember made a lot more noise than your 12000+ in the first half, well except when you were all whinging about stuff. Not bad for a Wednesday night on Sky and certainly not anything a Wigan fan can complain about after it was your club who demanded the fixture take place last night.

How many would you have brought to Cas on a Wednesday night if it was on Sky and you were missing half your first team squad?

It was an outstanding effort from our young players last night, with a bit of inexperience being our undoing in the end. With one or two older heads back, it'd have been our game.

There are some free weekends in August, and just because you plan on seeing the Challege Cup through to the final doesn't mean it's going to happen

Get a grip!! We always bring FAR more than a couple of hundred, but having said that compare fans going to the wheldon, jungle probiz colliseum stadium with fans going to the DW you'd have thought fans would be happy to come and see a proper stadium!

There are free weekends in august yes and we do plan on seeing the challenge cup through but who's to say it's not going to happen??

I was fearing the worst for Cas last night before the game, but in the end you actually missed a great opportunity to beat Wigan. If you hadn't given away a whole series of daft and needless penalties that gave Wigan field position I think you would you won the game. The injury to Emmitt didn't look good though, what's the word on him?

I think every one of their tries came from field position gained through a penalty so that's a fair comment. Still, with 12 first-teamers out it really wasn't a bad effort.

Could clearly hear the Cas fans singing on Sky at various points during the match, and the Wigan ones cheering when they scored.

You lot at Wigan were moaning about the Leeds turn out last week. Ever thought this? That the Sam tomkins issue, seeming lack of enthusiasm for going to your ground - especially when its on the TV is evidence of a simple fact? People dont really like Wigan?

I live in warrington, so travelling wasnt an issue but despite the fact that as a kid I idolised the starts of the 1990's Wigan - whilst still being a Cas fan. But in 2006 you knowingly broke the rules to cheat you way out of relegation. You have also turned to using the darkest methods to win. Why? You have some awesome players. Why do things that make people hate you. I dont like Leeds, but ill tell you what, they always endeavour to do things that benefit them, yet dont damage the game.

Wigan couldnt give a stuff about the game, they seem to think the game will end without them. for that reason, I wont ever visit Wigan again.

well done guys so proud of you.wigan moaing about small number of cas fans who travelled last night .how many of there fans would have travelled over to cas if boot had been on the other foot.midweek game where most poeple would be working till late i was 1 of the poeple who was working till 7 then home quick tea and sat down to watch the game expecting us to get killed by wigan but what a game .praise where praise is due every player at cas did us PROUD.
