2 Yorkshire sides certainly gave great entertainment on Yorkshire Day. From start to finish the match swung from one side to the other. Panthers getting a 10 point lead only to see this change to a 6 point deficit before getting back to all square going into the last 15 minutes. Everybody looked towards Jordan Lilley for the drop but a surprise Flanagan drop with 7 minutes to go looked like a repeat of our 1 point loss to the Bulls earlier in the season. It proved however a point too early as James Saltonstall sneaked in at the corner to seal an exciting win. Zac McComb drafted in on the other wing also made a strong contribution . The MOM sponsored by Investing for Tomorrow went to Liam Harris for another first class display with the Hitman sponsored by Thompson's Gas & Heating Services going to Curtis Davies.
In Club 1873 the winner of the £25 voucher went to number 43 Stephen Pidgeon and the £20 voucher to number 130 Lindon Allsopp.
Next week we are home to Newcastle and a week later at Toulouse with this fixture still to be confirmed.
The Widnes away game follows on Sunday 22nd August. The supporters coach leaves at 12.45 from the Shay. Adults £15 with juniors £8. To book phone Neil on 07714488080.
