Living overseas I only get to see Fax games maybe once every two years. Fortunately I was lucky enough to be in town for the Bately game on Sunday and not only was it a good (if nerve wracking at times) result, but the atmosphere created by the Fax fans was absultely fantastic. It’s been pretty flat at the few games I’ve attended over the last ten years, but Saturday was a real flashback to the great atmospheres at Thrum Hall in the 80’s and 90’s. A big well done to the group who sang their hearts out and inspired the team. Continue as you are and you’ll be a major factor in attracting lapsed supporters and young uns back to the club, as it makes the hair on the back of your neck stand on end when they’re in full voice.

Well said,the boys doing a fab job and the notoriety is spreading.

Our away support is certainly on the increase again. Long may it continue. Up The Fax!

Batley was rocking and Jamie and the LS28 group have done a fantastic job getting some interest and atmosphere back on matchdays.

RM mentioned that the players were talking about it in the dressing room after the game and what a lift it had given them.
The support that is, not Charlie.

Excuse my ignorance, but why are the LS28 group called LS28, and if it is anything to do with a Leeds post code, why are they supporting Fax? Also are the noisey fans "existing" fans who have all of a sudden found their voice? What's going on?

Thanks for that Fax Machine, and I agree they're doing a great job in revitalising the atmos. As an ex Scratching Shedder who remembers some great atmospheric matches (Allan Langer (Ozzie tourist) said Thrum Hall was one of the best atmos he had played in) it'll be great if we can rekindle the same enthusiasm at the Shay / away matches.

The atmosphere at Batley was unbelievable! Fax fans were there in much greater numbers than previous games and made a lot of noise all the way through.

LS28 has also hired 3 luxury coaches to take fans FREE OF CHARGE to the London away game next month as we want to get as many people there supporting Fax as possible. LS28 subscribers obviously take priority but after that seats are open to all.

Massive game for you boys on Sunday. For us we are just little old Halifax on the lowest salary level in the top 4 having a nose bleed at being third in the league and mustering more than 150 supporters to come across the Pennines. Am I right in saying your parachute payment was far greater than what we are spending this year on our squad(£500k v £350k allegedly?) That's without Degsy's money?

As for big wages?I'm not sure what our players are on,though it won't be peanuts .

I've already stated it's a Muck or Bullets situation for us on Sunday, I'm not even contemplating a loss , it's unthinkable,I will be singing either Tears of a Clown, or Ha Ha said the Clown,and I'm a Manfreds fan.
