Yes their left hand side were all over the place in Defense so maybe a target but we all know how both Gaz and Rob have hurt us in the past.

World of difference today on attack. Dewsbury stood off Qlt and it made it easier for everyone else. We are so much stronger with Moore on and Kaye off can the penny drop please RM

QLT and Grix took heaps of pressure off Murrell and Johnston and varied things up. QLT's passes for those first two tries were excellent, just what we've been missing. Threats all over the park, Butler strong running in the middle and Green superb. Best performance of the season, but could have been out of sight earlier if it wasn't for daft penalties and the odd mistake. Need more minutes from Moore.

Our attacking options seemed to be so much better today, and maybe QLT has had an effect from a coaching perspective already? Our discipline was poor again, albeit the ref seemed a bit whistle-happy (for both teams). Brandon looked sharp today, and I'm not sure how we benefit from rotating the hooker role? Scott and Jonno did the full 80, and it seems a waste of an interchange spot having two 9's? If we had 4 players covering 6, 7 and 9 then that could work better.

For Dewsbury, I thought Gaz Moore had a good game. We struggled to contain him and he showed none of the "attitude" that we saw at time when he played for us. Paul Sykes was a different matter, and why the ref didn't do something about the constant moaning from him I'm not sure.

If we can cut out the penalties and continue in the same vein as today, then I think we have a real chance of beating TW next weekend.

Dewsbury fans seem intent on blaming the ref, maybe they get that from their captain. I'm guessing we were on the wrong side of a heavy penalty count and our discipline was pretty poor and something that will have to improve against better teams. At times we cut through them with ease with only a bit of a lack of composure stopping us from racking up a cricket score.

For the most part Marshall seems to be doing well at rotating the squad and showed again that an average performance won't cut it if there is someone ready to step in. A step up needed again next week but we are putting a bit of pressure on the top 4 now.

It was great to see the impact of a big set of forwards laying a dominant platform.

The halfbacks had lots of room to operate in and we were very clinical in attack. I am looking forward to see what we can put together on wider pitch.

Referee helped nobody with a string of baffling decisions and a bizarre range of hand signals.

My first away game for some time yesterday. I know it wasn't that simple but we were a class above them in the second half. Thought Grix was my MOM, Like his old, thinner self.

I was also very confused by the ref, have they added some new signals as at one time he looked like he was doing a skipping rope impression as a signal!

Having just watched the game on Fax TV, there were some good performances across the park and we did look to move the ball a lot more, sometimes a bit forced when maybe a deep kick would have been the better option.

QLT coming into the line classic fullback style in attack offered us an extra man wherever he popped up and when he gets to know the plays better there will be a lot of scoring chances for him and others coming from that.

A number mistakes and a lot of penalties with some bizarre calls both ways.

A few candidates for mom, hard to call but moan of the match without a doubt was Paul Sykes, does he go on like that every game, good grief.

If we get that ref again he needs to learn:-
1.The 40/20 rule
2.the ball hitting shins does not constitute a knock-on.
3.If the attacking side scores a try from advantage play,you don't call it back for the offence..

Team warning ?

It could have been owt! The bloke gave one of the most baffling refereeing performances I've ever seen but without them, no game. A pretty good showing from Fax and one that gives real hope of a top four finish. It was good to see a big turnout of Fax fans as well! Up The Fax!
