| Of no interest to Halifax RLFC. He parted company with the club over 2 years ago although you wouldn't think so as FCHT have had a thread on their forum about this for some time.

| Really? On the most recent return to companies house, Reactiv Media, who had gone into Administration, transferred their 75,000 shares to a certain Mr Tony Ray Abbott. Does he still own these shares?

You tell me. As you and your little chums seem to suffer from OCD where Halifax RLFC are concerned whereas the business of FCHT is of no concern to us whatsoever.

| Disqualification as a director does not prevent an individual from owning shares, although it does say a lot about how an individual has conducted themselves.
As the liquidator did not pursue the legal transfer of shares from Reactive to Mr Abbott they must have concluded that Reactive received appropriate value for them. Even if this was, as likely, nothing.
Mt Abbott had considerable sums of money owed to him by the club and in return "wrote off" this amount against ongoing hospitality at games for a considerable number of years. He has a box at the club which he or friends and family used regularly last season after eating in the lounge. as such it should be noted whilst he has made amounts available to the Club these have not been "donations'. (An approach continued by Mr Croad but not by Mr Steele, who "wrote off" significant sums in exchange for shares)
Whilst none of this indicates what Mr Abbotts personal wealth at present is, I believe the sceptics who were not convinced by his arguments concerning his purchasing the Shay have been proved 100% correct.

Whether he still holds shares in HRLFC or not has nothing to do with the Shay. The Shay is owned by the Council.
His attempt to buy the Shay is now ancient history so why keep dragging it up?
He resigned as a Director of Fax in November 2015 if I remember correctly. What he does with his life now is of no interest to us so why is it so important to you?

| Could this be Halifax RLFC (or the old parent company):-
Quote In comparison, in the same period, Reactiv Media made net cash transactions to Mr Abbott’s benefit totalling at least £177,664, wrote off a loan owed by an company associated to him of £14,670, and transferred both an investment in that company valued at £75,000 and a further debt it owed of £93,550 to associated third parties'"

What old parent company? The current company has been operating since its incorporation in 2007 which was way before TA involvement.

| I suppose with hindsight there are are few points here for the future. Yes thank goodness for both clubs the Shay wasn't sold. The trouble with "business men " is you don't get a grade awarded between being a good businessman or not . The trouble with the Council is that they are not exactly always transparent. I think there has to be an acceptance particularly from our club , that it harmed relations.
As for the shares I dare say Tony Abbott would sell them for a fraction of 75k but to be frank they still wouldn't be worth what anyone paid for them. Steeley to his credit isn't wanting to eat out on old money that was spent a long time ago under his guardianship.
A few lessons to reflect on as we hopefully move forward.
