Anyone know why a) our match at Odsal doesn't kick off till 8? B) with the Shaymen away at Harrogate why our match v Oldham isn't until 7.30pm - can anyone shed some light on this please???

Bank hol Monday Beer before kick off

Plus people may want to do stuff with family during the day so boosts attendances for those who don't live in the pub

Okay that being said why does every other championship match being played over Easter apart from ours kick off in the afternoon?? Kicking off at 7.30pm is a crap idea and it is likely to lower the attendance not boost it - Could have had an Easter family fun day on what could be a nice afternoon ?????

bulls set good fridays kick off time so surely late kick off on easter monday is to give the lads as much recovery time as possible

I work Good Friday, so 7.30 good time for me

I doubt the difference between a 3.00pm kick off and a 7.30pm kick off will have any impact on the attendance at all.

A lot of folk work Good Fridays. Games over here generally tend to kick off in the evening whereas in Lancashire, where there's a tradition of being on the dole, they kick off at 3 pm. Many's the time in past years, it's helped get two - maybe three - games in on Good Friday.
