We wouldn't have been in that position had we not tried to force the pass on their line, yet again. It's our main fault. We don't complete our sets and build pressure like they did in the first half.

Apart from all the other mistakes and needless penalties from other members it was all Robs fault and the fact that once you change any single incident as if it didn't happen then the rest of the game from that point has to be different and unknown.

Not his best game. He was like a rocket going across the field when Fev broke through, only to muss the tackle completely. I'm sure he will get better and become a favourite again (fingers crossed)

He has always been inconsistent, which is why he changes clubs a lot, but he always puts in an effort and his attack can kill sides (occasionally). I wonder if he needs blinkers, like a horse, to help him concentrate as he often looks distracted.

Not the best game by a long stretch for Rob but he's the sort of player we need. Last year we lacked flair and thats what Worrincy brings. No one credits him when he carries the ball 15 + meters every run getting us on the front foot. Come on, get behind the lad - it's only day one of a long season.

The bloke is/was useless. He costs us more than he scores for us. Unbelievable that we've brought him back. Must have been cheap. Dissolusined.

The pass was not that bad to be honest but unfortunately Worrincy has never had the best pair of hands. You could name a number of incidents that contributed to the loss like a sin bin for a tackle that did not appear to be high, a try ruled out where it looked like we had scored in the corner, a possible knock on on Fev's last try. We did not lose the game because of one mistake.

I thought we went pretty well overall and our superior fitness was showing in the 2nd half when we lost a bit of momentum after the sin binning but Fev were blowing so hard at that point they had no choice but to take the 2 rather than keep us under the cosh and then it came down to the last try which was fortunate at best and a knock on at worst.

It didn't look like it at 14-0 down, but it ended up a really tight game that could have gone either way.

Rob didn't have a great game, but it was possibly the sin-bin that did the most damage given the way we started the second half.

Rob will be disappointed too, lets not forget that, and Rob didn't ping us down the field like a certain Childs did. The pass wasn't great, the pat back wasn't great either, the dropped ball on the kick return wasn't great either. On the plus side he made some good yards and got us on the front foot, he scored a try with the first time he received an attacking pass from us.
He didn't have a great one, he doesn't deserve a public flogging though. They will all be hurting.

Perhaps you'd have preferred if we had got a dual reg winger in from Salford instead then?

Rob is a confidence player and he knows better than anyone it wasn't his best today. He doesn't need people saying these things about him.

When did he last do that? I'm as blue and white as anyone but time after time Rob costs us games. Open your eyes!

He's also cost us a few games in a Sheffield shirt by skipping over wide out, he didn't lose us the game, we should have and could have won it at 26-24. same old Rob, some mistakes, but he'll be our top try scorer and last year we might just have made the top 4 if we had him. You know what you're getting, he balances out as positive overall all in a season its just frustrating when the back 3 blunders get exposed so brutally, especially in the final 10 mins.

Never mind Rob put this one down as a bad day at the office and move on, you can make up for it next week at Batley.

Rugby League is a TEAM Sport. Rob made a couple of mistakes, but so did everybody in the team. Some missed tackles, Some gave away silly penalties and some gave silly passes and some dropped the ball. Add that all together and the team sadly lost the game we should have won. The boys more than matched a team that is highly rated and one tipped to make the top 4. Many on here said we would be near the relegation zone. From the performance and effort today and in Pre Season I just do not see that. I think Richard Masrshall and the boys have worked very hard in the Pre Season with limited resources. We lost today when we should have won if we had been maybe smarter but also if we had a bit more luck. I see plenty to be positive about and no reason really to be negative and certainly no need to single one player out for the reason we lost. Rob doesnt read the game too well and he does have problems catching the ball. But he is also a matchwinner and he is a player opponents hate to line up against. His speed and agility frightens teams and is a weapon that we lacked the past couple of seasons. We should be supporting the team and players not being negative and pulling them to bits. Just sad what some people shout or post on here about players.
