heaton,johnston,boyle,b.moore,butler,woodburn-hall.nelmes and morris to add to that team,can,t see many more signings with club running bit more conservative this season

I think RM said he was looking to play Grady in the pack, so expect him to be in the 2nd row, and then use Tangata as a prop and rotate with the others. From how they played at the back end of this year I wouldn’t be surprised to see either Butler or Woodburn-Hall in the centre. I’d also expect Brandon Moore to be the interchange hooker.

On paper the squad looks strong enough to mount a serious challenge, but it did last season also. The big change needed is for RM to realise where he went wrong last season as opposed to the previous one and try to find his best side and, injuries/suspensions aside, stick to it.

I am not as up to date as you guys, but I hope the 17 show commitment, team spirit, and are prepared to put bodies on the line for the blue and white cause.

Will be a minimum requirement with that squad which in my opinion lacks quality and has too many question marks against it.

According to oxy on the fev site batley outbid fev for one of our better players for last season (Guessing manning)

If Manning leaves then I think the board will most certainly have to answer some questions, undoubtedly, along with Tangata, our stand out player for the past few seasons.

Both are under contract are they not? Cannot imagine either leaving to be honest. Manning far too vital to consider letting him go, regardless of a fee and Murrell as was mentioned, will be required to do more on the coaching side this year, so doubt that too (even if he is replaceable on the pitch).

I'm hearing Muzza back to Hull KR, however with him being based in Leeds and working at Calderdale College I'm not sure how much truth in it. However it would kinda make sense. KR in this division for first time, Muzza now experienced in this division, local and historic connections.

Looking at that 17 you would expect to compete for the top 4. Looks strong. Still would have jonno in the halfs with muzza on the bench and salty at full back

Yep, or Heaton might get the odd run out on the wing. At least it shows we have some options outside of our first 17.
