Just been announced that half backs Moore and Conor Robinson have re-signed one year deals . I know some don't rate Moore but I'm pleased he has signed on again while Robinson can cover nine as well to give RM other options .

I wasn't a big Gaz Moore fan when he signed but he proved me wrong and was one of our better players for most of last season. Fair play to him. I hope that he goes well in 2017

We have no money, the directors are doing their best with the limited funds, quite rightly they do not want to get the club in financial straights by signing the players you want (incidentally who are they and are they available?)
Our remaining sponsors are again digging as deep as they can and its up to us to try and be positive.
No disrespect intended but I have never seen a positive post from you so perhaps you could enlighten us with what you think our board should be doing.

I like Robinson. He has potential to go very far if he puts his mind to it. I get the feeling though, that sometimes, if your face doesn't fit, it doesn't fit. Still a young kid. Now needs to step up and stamp his authority in a game. RL is not just about skill, it's also personality and cliques. Overcome or compromise and you'll do well.

I think Robinson has a huge amount of potential but has been hindered by lack of game time - reserve games too sporadic to get any fluency. Can understand why Marshall opts for Murrell and Moore - would be a big gamble to swap these out. Think Robinson's best performances have been at hooker, his distribution is excellent.

On the fence with this news.I would have liked a new half back signing with either robinson/murrell departing but RM now has to work out his best pairing which he wasn't able to do last year.On the plus side Moore was excellent last year up until Blackpool....and Connor doe's have potential and versatility.

I hear rumour on here about our finances the club tell us nothing, so how do I know what is true?

If we can get Moore back to his early season form from the last campaign and he produces that for a full season we'll have one of the top half backs in the division.

Being '000 s of miles away, I only get information from a few sources, some of it balanced some prejudiced.
It reads to me that RM had too many similar players vieing for 3 places last term and he spent most of the season experimenting with differing permutations, not very successfully, along with some unfortunate injuries to the squad.
Next term with it being a smaller playing squad it should be more settled.
Many people more eminently qualified than me have told players that they will have an extended run in the team to show what they can do, not just one game! Playing breeds confidence, that should allow players to concentrate on the game and not worry if they will play next week or again be bench warming.
With a smaller coaching team there is also less chance of mixed messages and all looking at the same game plan, along with senior players on the park to guide the younger guys without fear of reprisal from the dugout.

As for the BOD, yes more information would be welcome as fans have a right to know certain things, however some things are not pertinent for the masses and we have to accept that ( in your work place do you know everything). Let them get on with doing a good job in difficult circumstances.
If you feel you can do better go and see them and apply for a seat on there. put up or shut up!

As for the on field activities the Championship will not be easy and every one will need to be at their best all of the time. Get behind them support that's your job within HRLFC.

Gaz Moore started well last year but faded later in the season, he is a good player and proved that being our top try scorer but needs to get back to his best from the start next year we will need him more than ever with Muzza getting slower each year!
Connor Robinson is still work in progress so lets wait and see eh?

If he's serious about his game, maybe he may need to adhere to a strict dietary & training regime.
He's slow because he always appears to be carrying a pot belly around with him.
