The Reserve Team are playing against Hull FC Reserve's this Saturday 30th April 2.30pm kick off at Huddersfield YMCA. Entry donations a minimum of £2, All going towards the Trust's support of the Reserve Team.

Looking forward to this. If its as good as the Saints match but with the right result it'll be a good warm up for the Workington game.

According to the Club website the Reserve Match tomorrow has been cancelled due to the pitch being unplayable.

Just a though.
I like many others applauded the idea of a reserve team, it is/was a way of building for the future.
However through no fault of the club, so far, how many games have been played. What has the cost to the club been so far?
Imagine how frustrating it must be for the lads who are getting no rugby, they can not play for an amateur team when there is no reserve game and now they can't play tomorrow.
Wouldn't it be best for Fax to approach an amateur club and sponsor them, build a team around the existing reserves, use the Fax coaches and then these lads would get a game every week.
I'm not sure how much the reserve squad get paid but, I do know that a couple of lads are thinking it's not enough to stop them playing every week.
As I say, just a thought.
