does it surprise me?NO,I had heard a few rumblings a couple of weeks ago about varying things ,however it has happened life goes on,he will be replaced ,by who?Again I don't know,however I WILL throw in a name,Richard Marshall,

he has played for Leigh in the past,I'm sure he knows our set up and is ambitious.

RM has unfinished business at Fax and whilst he is very ambitious he is also very sensible. When he does eventually leave Fax it will be for a Super League club. He has nothing to gain by moving to Leigh.

It would not be the first time in a relationship where they've had a week abroad and come back and thought perhaps this is not the way forward!

Dave a few names have been mentioned , none of which I would choose, but I would give RM a chance,he has plenty to gain by coming to Leigh , less travelling,a bigger Club,an ambitious Owner, and a realistic chance of SL.

A strange time for a coach to leave so close to season. Surely it would have been beneficial for PR to part terms at end of last season. This would have given new coach a preseason to work with players. Obviously this wasn't planned otherwise would have been announced sooner. Wonder if this will impact on Leigh's season.

I very much doubt this was the case in fact to the majority of fans it was 12 months overdue regardless of the fact as a player he is still held in high regard .
Where as Rowley appears to have thrown the towel in before DB has had chance to put together any " damage limitation " with more to come rumblings too I hear .
Plus I cannot see Richard Marshall even considering going to Leigh he may as well stay with Fax for another year or two learning his craft without interferance till he moves to Super League.

Cmon Pete look at the Facts,We get bigger crowds than Fax,have a better ground, better facilities,a far better playing squad,an ambitious Owner who isn't scared of spending his cash,and less travelling for him, he has played for Leigh in the past and knows how we tick.One last thing Pete the Lanky fans are more knowledgable about Rugby.
