He confirmed that "the club may look to make further additions to their squad during a busy time on the transfer front."

On the other side of things picked up a whisper that Salty and Johno are attracting interest for SL clubs, anyone else heard this?

I've heard the same thing , that's life though we can't compete with SL clubs.

Me, from someone who gets to hear inner player social chat, mentioned some interest from SL with no other details, as I say just a whisper hence the question if anyone else had heard it and knew more.

Along with a couple of others. This just shows what a turnaround it has been this year, the last few years we had players never playing to their potential who many thought a few could do a job in SL. Now we have SL clubs looking at our players because they are in great form. If the club did get an offer they would struggle to turn it down but the bond between the players is so strong Im not sure anyone would be in a rush to leave.

Fully agree, I can see Cahalane and Manning in that group.

As you say the draw card for Fax is that these players, if they perform are going to play week in week out and are just starting on the road to something good with Fax which I would want to be part of given the chance and choice.

I'm sure the club is fully aware of it all and will be doing what they can do to keep the core of best performers while adding to them if they can.

This just shows how the gap between SL and Champ in terms of standard is closing all the time.

No shock that these two lads are attracting attention. To be fair we have nailed Johhno on a contract previously, so would get a fee. Not sure about Salty? Personally I would try my damndest to build the Fax team around the likes of these lads as they are young and only going to get better with time and more games under their belt. I suppose money and ambition of the player will no doubt see where this rumour goes.
