Were on great form and the fixtures couldn't be more perfectly timed for next week. A win against Batley is crucial, and they had a good win today (although only 537 fans there?!). Were at home and with our form really should be a 7th win on the bounce. Featherstone are at Leigh and Sheffield have Bulls so more than likely defeats for both our 3rd/4th rivals, next week we need to secure our top 4 spot, we don't want to go into the final game against bulls needing a win!

I cant see Fev or Sheffield winning but you never know. Sheffield have been in a false position most of the season having their difficult fixtures at the end of the season but win our next two and things are looking good. Current form I think we will beat Bradford so cant see it mattering.

We shouldn't take Batley for granted - on paper we should win but Batley have a habit of turning up for big games. I wonder if we will allow Alex Brown to play against us ?

Featherstone's chances of winning at Leigh are improved by the fact that Leigh's cup run has left them with two midweek games to squeeze in (vs Hunslet this Wednesday and subsequently Dewsbury) plus a potential title decider vs Bradford on the following Sunday.

I'm hoping that we don't need to concentrate on others' results and that finally with RM's coaching we have a team that can deliver the goods as opposed to prior years' late stumbles.

RM says he is close to bringing in an unnamed player on a season long loan deal and hopes to have it tied up this week.

A different RL paper says Fax are still looing for a half back but no word on if it's the loan guy or just old news.

Not sure about resting Scott. Batley will be a tough game and I think we'll need him for what he adds to our game. Rest him the week after against Donny (no offence to Donny meant)

It will be interesting to see who it is if it comes off, only a few weeks ago the press was full of clubs in the Championship looking to strengthen especially in the halves and they were all saying no one was available, if it is a half back it could be a bit of a coup as RM does not sign people for the sake of it.

I agree on this problem with DR and also if Ryan is fit and takes CR's place how Conner would feel if he was just sent back, not an ideal situation for all concerned.

Sadly without the loans and DR's we have had this year we would likely be nearer mid table than top four, lets hope we can get into a position were we don't need either.
