If memory serves me rightly i believe Danny played at full back when Widnes were in our league. If its the same lad he was a good runner of the ball, fairly quick and had a nose for the try line. He must have developed since then too. Sounds like a good signing to me.

I think the Championship is his level, as not really taken his chances at Widnes. I think Tom Gilmore has jumped above him in the pecking order.

From what I have seen, Johnston at 7 and Craven at 6 could work well? Move Murrell to 13? Hard to say with Murrell playing so well.

People move on even if got a few yrs left on their contract, and Tom Gilmore played in Catalan at halfback. Betts sees Gilmore as the choice firstly, and on the games seen of both players Gilmore is much better. Hey i am not saying Craven is awful, as still a decent player and i wish him well. It is just my opinion on the games watched of the players.

The other player Kavanagh to Wakefield i definitely do not rate.
