Leigh have just signed Ben Jeffries on a 2 year deal. That's not a bad signing.
Can you imagine the build-up to that being announced if he was signing for Fax???

Cant say I would be that impressed if Fax had signed him. He was clearly way past his best a couple of years since so bit of an odd one really. Its probably for Brierley leaving as there really arnt that many decent half backs available.

It would be interesting to find out who the competition for his signature was from. On various sources Leigh have stated that Jeffries had loads of offers and they had to work hard to secure his signature.

Also Johnny Walker has signed for Leigh after being released form HKR.

Is reading a problem for you old tony? There is like one post or maybe two at most that question the signing, one of those is from a Leigh fan, but that makes us lot bitter................

I did read a post on the Leigh board after signing Walker stating they must now have the best 4 or 5 props in the division. I think we can probably argue that and no doubt when the team of the year is announced that may argue it also because I believe we have 2 front runners in that department. I am level headed enough to realize that is just one fans view and not what all their fans think.



I think most Leythers recognize that give or take the odd result they could easily be in our position and we could be in theirs. Name a game that we cant argue we should have won that we lost and name a game that Leigh won that they could quite plausibly have lost. Im sure both sets of fans can come up with a few.

Haha, coming from a fan of a team that hasn't won a playoff game in years. One good season and all of a sudden your the worlds best team. You enjoy riding the wave, sooner aloe later you will fall off and all those you belittled will be ready to tear you a new one.
