The one 2 hours prior to this also indicated he was no longer at Fev.

Speculation but you have to think he has or had ulterior motives, he's been at three clubs, Halifax, Cas and Fev two of whom owned their own ground and land the other who's landlords may have been willing to sell.

What a shame if Fev have undone loads of gradual good work that saw them on a strong footing, hopefully not though it would be nice to see them slip a bit to level the playing field

I saw this tweet this morning and another last night supposed to be from him , something about " a revolving door same stuff same people as usual and he`d had enough " or similar to that .He was also involved with Wigan as well wasn`t he?

By sounds of it think campbell has seen the light and put the foot down when certain people been attempted to be forced out

Dont think we will implode - many saw it potentially coming but think certain aspirations may be on hold for the time being

Fev have neither now. Just a few sorry looking flat caps and a DR agreement no one wants. Ah well

Not to mention some likely expensive contracts on the back of his promises.

Begs the question, some fev players are already off next season but which ones would we take as its likely there will be quite a number available pretty soon.

Well if true we can forget about S\L I don't know the in and outs yet but the Board at Fev welcomed him to Fev and allowed him to be majority share holder so don't think he will walk away quietly

On the Fev totalrl forum it has been allouded to about the potential problems of them being committed to certain contracts and commitments on the back of Mr Nahaboo's promises, and the worry that it is some contrived attempt to force a discounted sale of club assets ( land )

That's problem when certain people go against others seen it all before. One thing is for sure Fev can forget S\ L for a long time If championship clubs want to move to the next level they need investment and ambition When this happens they will also want to bring there own men in. As a supporter the only thing I didn't like from him was DR but he explained it was a loophole for the club to bring players in as the current ones were not good enough to take us to the next level

But it isnt jt, DR can only ever be a short term patch and a big risk

On investement ( or cash down a black hole as I call it ) , again if that investement goes onto the pitch, it is only temporary, income streams are the key to any growth, and sustainable ones at that, ones within the clubs control

Well not knowing all the details it's hard to comment other than to say I hope Fev don't implode, they have been the benchmark club for the last few years and as such set the standard for us and others to attain to.

If Campbell has anything to do with it they will be alive.

I'm not in the slightest bit surprised by this news.

No one is my friend, does make me smile people saying they told us, us flat cappers arnt as gullible as some think. Some of the press releases lately have been cringeworthy to be honest and some idiotic. Take the big release last Monday well our chairman didn't even know it was taking place, its been an utter shambles from start to finish and the reason we haven't been playing well. The players didn't know if they were coming or going literally. But there seemed to be a big sigh of relief at yesterdays game and it was the best performance since hay came. I reckon it would of been better for Fax had it carried on because I reckon rather than implode we will kick on now. mark Campbell is no ones fool Rovers will be fine with him in charge. I don't like the public battering Feisal is receiving at the moment though end of the day despite some of the outlandish promises he has tipped some money up and the mere fact he paid for the coaches to leigh the other month means he shouldn't be slagged off in public

Featherstone Statement:-

With immediate effect majority Shareholder Feisal Nahaboo has announced to officials that he will no longer invest in Featherstone Rovers following undisclosed disagreements. However, the club is prepared to say that both men agreed that for the best interests of the fans that Chairman Mark Campbell continues to run the club.
The club can confirm that all Directors had been liaising with Nahaboo all week to keep his interest in the club and all had supported the ambition that saw significant changes in 8 weeks such as:
Change in coaching staff +Player extended contracts +Quality new squad additions +Dual registration +Players coming in on loan +Players going out on loan +Expenses cut by approx 200k +6 wins and an unfortunate draw in the last seconds and similarly a loss from a missed kick in the last seconds. The record could have easily stood at 8 wins. Nahaboo has given 3 years to the club as a sponsor and investor allowing the club critical funds to strengthen the squad that has seen the club win 4 titles consecutively. Nahaboo's funds helped draw in the likes of Sharpe, Mellors, Cording & Etu last year and helped the clubs foundation with an immense Centre of Excellence filled with equipment. For a multi-millionaire to show any interest in Featherstone is rare and fans should thank him for his contribution. Nahaboo has also funded the club in difficult times allowing wages to be paid, he has paid off HMRC debts including PAYE and VAT which the RFL were aware of. He has been a great servant and fans should commend his contribution and we all hope at the club that he will return if we can resolve a disagreement that has clearly upset Nahaboo. We must remember Nahaboo has generously given substantial sums to Castleford, Halifax, Wigan & the RFL. Rugby League has been a beneficiary of his generosity.
Nahaboo said "The fans need to know what the players know. I was 110% behind the region.I believe the resources being made available and the strategy deployed would have got the club into SL. The players and coaching staff believed that. As did most Directors. I've told the club subject to amicable discussions over the next 7 days I will keep door open but believe Mark Campbell is the man to lead Fev. I did my bit, the fans are with him understandably so walking when in love, was the only way. The Championship has become more difficult and fans should be patient."
Mark Campbell said "The club is proud to have had a financial supporter in Feisal. To show his commitment he left Brazil with celebrity friends to travel home to drive 6hours to Cumbria for the Workington game. He was committed to helping the club progress. Big personalities who have built big businesses sometimes don't agree with slow growth and old habits and its normal to have differences but Nahaboo is obviously offended and we respect his wishes and will continue dialogue with him in the next few days. I personally thank him for his support that has helped club reach successes in recent times. I'd also like to thank Craig in his time at fev as we've seen revenues grow across the business year on year and wish him well in the future , and hope to see him down at "the big fellas " in the future and be able to enjoy the games without the pressure of being the CEO which is a thankless job in rugby league."


Thrown his toys out of the pram because he thinks you can buy overnight success but the wise people at the club want to do it slowly and sustainably.
