I have decided to start a new thread as Sam seems to be mentioned on at least 3 other threads.
To me Sam was superb in the first half, at least three or four important offloades two of which resulted in trys.
Threw a silly punch in the tackle early on and was quite rightly penalised.
Booed in the first half when substituted, and more importantly in my opinion, disgracefully, as he was helped off the pitch.
Why do Fax fans dislike him, he opted to play for us instead of that useless waste of space club in South Yorkshire and accepted all the vitriol from them, did't we christen him Slamin Sam.
Sincerly hope he is well tonight,
O'h if you look at the other threads about tonight, leyther94 and hindsfordleyther79 won't be able to reply, they have been sent to bed without any supper.

) hahaa. Banter and jokes aside im sure all Fax fans wish Barlow a speedy recovery, its never nice to see a player injured no matter what team they play for. Im now off to bed hungry but good luck for the rest of the season.

So why did you call us thugs or words to that effect, Rugby League is a hard game, a lot of hard tackles, some head high shots, I don't know if you were there or doing your homework, but a lot of fisticuffs and a lot of shaking hands at the end.

Barlow is somebody you either love or hate. Have no time for Barlow personally. An arrogant egomaniac who thinks its funny to wind people up on social media etc as well as on the park. No need for it and needs to grow up. Banter is OK but he goes beyond that and why he is somebody many people simply dont like. He is happy to put in sly shots and digs. However wish him well in his recovery and dont want anybody to end up in Hospital

Good news, it seems sam's injuries are not as bad as originally feared. Still in hospital under observation though.

Please re-watch the first game and Barlows sending off. Cheap shot on Manning to start it, cheap shot on Heaton which luckily missed then what looked like a headbutt on Potts. I'm not condoning Mannings actions but you can't go around saying cheap shot that and cheap this when the very player in question is seen on camera doing the very same thing. Why no reaction then?

Fax where trying to wind Barlow up all the game and to be fair he didn't rise to it so because that didn't work word must of been to take him out the game. Also thought that idiot tonks should have gone he was trying it on with everyone pity it wasn't acton..

It was unwise of Rowley to put the "fractured skull" in the public domain. Such speculation even if emanating from medical opinion should have remained private.

It's great that initial fears have proven unfounded and hopefully Sam is fit to play rugby again soon.

As supporters it's probably the incident is best left to the disciplinary committee.

It appears to me that Halifax and their Fans are somewhat obsessed with Sam, if that thug Manning had done that in the street He would be looking at Jail, it was a nasty incident ,which resulted in Sam Barlow being taken to hospital for a scan ,disgraceful ,why don't you realise that Sam has left you for a far superior team and grow up a little, my highlight of the evening was when Fieldhouse got payback for his Childish wave at Macnally at the Shay when He was scoring his try ,His pathetic pat-a-cake on the ball over His own try line clinched it for Leigh ,justice I call it
