The RFL`s robot. That game at Batley a couple of years back always makes me laugh. Not a single penalty for holding down and no sin binning for a batley player for holding Thackery down after a break, not even a penalty. Obviously the RFL had a word with him and the following week for the Leigh TV game he was penalizing holding down left right and centre all night.

He was running the line in the Widnes v Salford game on Thursday night and said to the wife "Hey up it's our mate the ginger ninja, i hope he sprains his ankle".

She replied, "Oh no we haven't got him on Sunday have we".

I said "I don't know but I hope he sprains his ankle anyway"



Only to learn he's back at the weekend.

We were always going to have him for a big game weren't we.

Whilst he is a tool it sounds like we are already blaming him for our potential poor display.

Let's get our excuses in early

It gives Rhino a break if we pick on the ref for a day or two....

and a good friend of Charlies , along with Dick Jones we run Poker Nights for Leigh Centurions every Tuesday , and Joe has played on a couple of occasions , you will be OK with Joe .

That was for the Swinton game (Joe is doing Dewsbury-Whitehaven tomorrow)

I honestly think we should be more tolerant of our referees, all of them had very promising careers before they turned to refereeing, can't be much fun going blind at such an early age.
