I tend to agree, I think we have good people now, who know what they want, lets not have the Football mentality, we are a top side in this division, we win more than we lose, give them time to build, stick with it, Keep the Faith.

The problem with that is that KH took over a very good team. He didnt take over a team close to the bottom of the league.

From the team he took over most people would say we have gone backwards rather than forwards.

I agree with GFB on that... If I didn't have patience I'd have stopped coming in July!!

But with potentially heavy turnover in players, especially in pivotal positions. How many more years are we looking at?

I have no idea what Harrison is trying to build. After 2 years with him as coach we need a hooker and 1 if not 2 Half backs (Murrell should be at 13 for me). We often look clueless and frightened to try something too flambouyant. How many of the academy players are given a chance? Holden is lucky if he gets a few minutes. I just dont see what Karl is trying to build after 2 years here. Maybe somebody can show me.

I remember the it doesn't matter about now quote after fev hammered us at home, so after losing at home to Sheffield does it stgill not matter or is it the pre season games next season when we start to come good.

I hate this kind of talk, you don't see other teams using it, the old its a 3 year plan etc, way to put off any potential season ticket buyers.

Oh and we were ahead of Sheffield and on a par with Fev not so long ago, granted we did start to suffer under Calland as I think things got stale but we haven't improved at all.

Next year we have to get into the top 2 and be ready for lift off the year after with the new world of P&R being back. So pressure is on I hope Karl has made some great new signings and he can get us playing Sheffield style rugby, come on big fella prove the doubters wrong.

OK fax4life is your post summary based on something akin to clutching at straws or is a proper appraisal based on the last two seasons results and performances?

er stating the obvious but the last 2 years performances and results as the NRC Final last year apart we aint had much to crow about really, especially this year the only highlights for me was the big win over Leigh at the Shay and the play off win at Sheffield which was a great result but for long spells a grind, it was 0-0 at half time.
We can close that gap with 5 or 6 good signings, a hooker, stand off, scrum half, one or maybe two centres and a fast winger.
Lets wait and see.

That is nearly half a team. At this point in time from where KH took over he shouldnt be having to make such drastic changes to only get us close to catching the top 2 let alone competing with them. I think it highlights some very poor recruitment.

Also as the saying goes "Hindsight is a wonderfull thing.

At the end of the day it's a job, players have been signed to do it.

As with anything like this some times a job is well done and sometimes it's not.

If it's work in progress and still unfinnished you get someone else to do it and that's what is happening.

I'm sure if KH was asked has the recruitment gone to plan the answer would yes and no.

Where it is no he has said we will be back next year to try and fix it, but nothing can be guaranteed.

I'm as dissapointed as the rest of us with the style of play and how the season has turned out.

I have to decide if it's Fax untill I die or Fax until I cry, I have and i'll be there for as long as I'm able to go.

I notice alot of you are saying players are not good enough but 2 week ago playing Sheffield you were the best team so your players are not that bad at Fev over the last few seasons when Powell was in charge he got a settled side of good players and stuck with them adding a few new faces each season and that why I think we improved and have been consistent I don't watch Fax every week but your team is not a bad one and if there is big changes player wise the coach will then say its the first season together we will get better if you don't win anything. What I think the top clubs need to realise is that paying top dollar for players in this league doesn't always win you trophies The pool of players is spread out and any of the top 5 can win the other on any given day as has been seen this year àgain and as fans we need to remember that and not think that our clubs should be in the final and if they don't make it then say the team or coach is poor when there not

JTfev-totally agree. Personally I think Fev have been the most consistent side by fact they have finished top of the league for last four seasons and others have had to do with lower positions or wins in knockout games. As regards Fax, I just don't see what they have to do for some people to be satisfied. Yes its frustrating at times, but I would rather have had the success we have had over the last few years than be battling at the bottom of the league or worse still be in the league below!!!!
Fax will have their time but it takes time to get a successful team together and some people just don't seem to have that patience and want success now etc.
