Totally and utterly dejected after being beaten at home yet again by what will be the team that will finish top of the league for the 4th year in a row, now that is consistency, well done Fev.
Now much that we all dislike Fev cos of some of their numpty fans, we have to concede that they are a well run club and they must be doing something right, they have good backers, are improving their ground, have decent gates and seem to be well run on and off the pitch. Now we as a club still seem to have some gaps and I cannot put my finger on why? Are we too arrogant or is it complacency?

So all I can think of is take a long look at Fev as a club and learn!
If not we will stay in their slipstream as they are in front of us we have to admit and no offence this a small town club about a 1/5 the size of Halifax!

It's annoying isn't it? When Salford, Castleford and Hull KR went up to SL I thought right, here we go - Fax top dogs. Although we've won two trophies we seem to have been eclipsed by Featherstone and now Sheffield.

We have to get that bit extra smarter for soon, P&R will return and Cas & Hull KR will be back.

You mention numpty fans. We didn't see any Fev fans today until after the final whistle. We ended up driving past the North Stand just as they were all coming out. Two 8 year olds in the back seat with their windows down were looking for high 5's which were given every time. The lads congratulated them and the gesture was appreciated by all.

Eaxctly I think we as a club and I mean all of us from Board down to us the fans are good at knocking other clubs (I do it by having a go at Sheffields lack of support) but actually we don't have that much to crow about really, we are not top of the league, we are not the best supported team and we are not the best run club.
We need to be if we do want to get into the new SL otherwise forget it, like I said we all must swallow our pride and take a step back and learn!
But somehow I don't think we will as we are a bit arrogant and too quick to jump on people who question things, like me!.

Heaton, Tyrer, Worrincy, Reittie, Handforth
Same old, same old against the top dogs.
Problem is, we have no real competition for these spots at the moment.
Sheriffe or Patterson would have made no difference.
God, we are awful without Murrell. Roll on next season if he is not playing again this year.

I agree with most of that, other than including Reittie. He's no world beater, but he's getting better every game, and becoming a real handful for the opposition to contain.

Really disappointed with Heaton, who looked to have the makings of a real good centre earlier in the season. He was falling off tackles last night, opening up some real gaps for Fev to exploit. Tyrer is too slow and/or doesn't use his size to good effect, but positionally is quite sound. Worrincy is a liability more times than a match winner - he's got hands like dinner plates, yet he can't catch a ball. Tiger has his moments, but is too slow off the mark.

We have a great pack, but it's too one dimensional and aren't being coached to go into the tackle with a body position that will offer the potential for a quality offload.

The Ashall brothers come in for some stick, but they're both improving all the time and could be real stars for us.

All in all though, the main difference last night was "attitude". We only woke up with some real zip in the last 15 minutes when it was too late. We need to have this "bounce" and enthusiasm (Thacks can't be faulted for this for the full 80 - every game - Craig Ashall too) and then maybe we'll get somewhere?
