| Does anybody know the estimated capacity of The Shay at the moment?
Only asking because I know Leigh have been sent 1100 tickets for the final, which I'd expect us to sell witin the first week of going onsale, and Sheffield sent the same amount, which I'd imagine they would sell....eventually, and would expect/hope a few hundred Fax fans would turn up as neutrals.
The average attendance for the last 4 Finals at Bloomfield Road must be 8,000+, is it going to be anywhere near that, providing that people will actually buy the tickets, obviously?

| Can't see it being a problem Cog
I'm sure the South Stand holds a lot more than 1,000 as well, it will just be an initial allocation to see how it goes.

| As I have said on many occasions I can not understand why anyone who attended Blackpool sees anything wrong with a day out in Halifax.
What did you do at Blackpool, paddle, go on a donkey?
No, most of us rolled up at Wetherspoons, had a breakfast with a liquid breakfast, found a different pub had lunch with a liquid lunch, went to the game had a beer and a burger, watched the match, left the ground back to Wetherspoons until it was time to go home.
So you Faxfans, you team supporters and you neutrals meet at The Barum Top (Wetherspoons) on to Dirty Dicks, Pump Room, Ring O Bells, 3 Pigeons and into the South Stand Bar (sorry Eagles no bar in the North Stand)
Enjoy the game, then a few hours in Halifax and on yer way.
Remember please DRIVE carefully.

It does hold many more than that, hopefully you and Fax will fill it, East stand (Diners Sponsors and those who can afford £3 more than us peasants) will be partly full, North Stand, Seagulls end, will have tumble weed drifting along. After the game it will be renamed Boot Hill.

I would suggest it would be about 2500 - 3000 in the south stand based on the information i can find, I have sites stating the whole stadium will hold 14,000, then Halifax RLFC state it will hold 11,000 and others are showing 10,500
5860 seats leaves approx 6k north and south stand.

All the above information could have been found by googleing your question, however i found it informative doing it for you.

Actually it can be any of those figures depending on whether or not it becomes part of a "criteria."

| Hasn't there always been an issue with the number of bogs in the north stand affecting the capacity. It's limited to about 1000 in there. But more than doubles if some thunderboxes or whatever are hired
