didnt expect that result or performance. To put sixty against a Leigh team containing some quality players is fantastic. Leigh may have been poor but much of that is probably down to Fax hurting them and being so Melbourne like in wearing teams down and the clinical finishing

I agree Today we seemed to run harder and tackle harder.It was great to see.

Amazing peformance, simply outstanding.

We start with a strong 13 and the bench has quality on it and keeps rotating giving no restspite to the opposition.
There was no place for a few other players that have played first team as well.

If we are to win anything this year this will play a big part.
Still early days but we are slowly starting to play as a team.

Very proud of the boys today, all across the park we were outstanding against a decent Leigh side. Until we went 18 nil up it was a tough encounter.

Without putting a dampner on things I've heard Leigh are in a financial mess. Great performance from fax tho and I hope Leigh pull through. We can take Penky off them if needs be.

I think most teams are struggling financially, the ones who will come through it are the ones who manage this problem best.

Very impressive performance across the whole team. Morrell has added some class to the side and the forwards just keep getting on top of the opposition-certainly did today. Never expected that result to be honest.Good to hear the Fax fans make some noise at home as well.

Was expecting one of hardest games of season and ended up being one of easiest . Oxford gave a better account of themselves than Leigh.

Loved it when one loyner shouted at the top of his voice, "get on with it you :r" when Tyrer was lining up a conversion.
Bet he didn't shout that all those seasons when Nanyn was taking ages.

Ive just got a sneaky suspicion that this Fax team may go on to be the best one that I have watched since we came down from SL. A really tight bunch of quality hardworking players who want to work for each other rather than fight each other like at certain teams.

The next one is the big one. Barrow at home with another chance to extend our unbeaten run.

Well done today on your big win lets hope your not as good in a couple of weeks as I don't want you getting 60 by us. Looks like your are the best in the league at the moment and I cannot see us catching you up unless the signings arrive next week before you play us. Anyway there's a cup match first hope to see the Fax faithful over in a few week and with a bit of luck we will give you a game if all goes well

In addition our systems of play in both attack and defense have been totally revamped as they needed to be.
Along with it being a relative new team going back to the drawing board has taken some time to adapt to, don't forget we are a part time team with a limited number of occasions when we can train together.
This makes the progress made so far even more remarkable.
We will keep our heads on and see where it takes us as we have won nowt yet, for now let's just enjoy the ride.

you have won nowt yet ,granted you are playing well , but things will change , very rarely do teams play perfect rugby all season , you are top of the League and deserve to be there , enjoy it but take nothing for granted , at the moment its good being a Fax fan , im a Leyther , at the moment it hurts being a Leyther , but hopefully as with every Dog , it will come our turn to Bark .

As a leigh fan i was and am disgusted with my teams performance, guttless and showed no pride in the shirt. However that is not to take anything away from a very good and rofessional display by fax, as i said to mick in the 3 pidgeons prior to the game, halifax is without doubt my favourite away game, you guys are all very good spirited, knowkedgable about the game, and its truly a pleasure to visit the shay, and the 3 pigs for the excellent banter and beer. Hope to be over again soon to watch u boys when leigh dont have a game
