Last year had breakfast at Wetherspoons and then moved on to Yates's (who say we Fax Fans lack adventure?)
Just across the rd from Yates is a pub called, Star? Sun? and it was very cheap with extremely large and good pies.
Any suggestions.

Have been trying to find a good real ale pub in Blackpool to frequent before the game on Sunday, but not found much up to this point without going out of town, which is not ideal so may end up having to go with the larger. The No3 pub as suggested to me by RFF is now a crown carvery

not that there is a problem with a carvery, but at the expense of a good pub is a shame.

Then try the No4. Cracking pint of IPA in there. But if it's the town centre you're after, then good ale isn't easy to find.
Just slightly off the beaten track and there's some right gems in B'pool but they will take you away from the main action in town which would be just fine for me but not I would imagine, for the rest of the brethren.
See, the three pigeons is my type of boozer not some "monty's come on look at the girlies bar", "mucky O'flaherty's oyrish pub with everything imported from china" OR "funny fellas swing ya thing bar" that maybe be fun but charge a fortune for crapola beer that you have to queue 5 deep at the bar and shout over the top of ear splitting 'music' (and I use the term 'music' generously) for a pint of something I wouldn't wash the floor with!

still, I'll be there with the Brethren, having a laugh and spilling more down me shirt front than I will actually drink!!

The best pubs to go in Blackpool , before the game are the Lifeboat near the Foxhall pub , and the Shovel near the Coliseum Bus Station , they are not flash but will welcome you , the Swift Hound on the old Rugby ground site was where a few Fax fans went last year , try the Tower Lounge Bar , the best pubs are in the back streets away from the Prom .

Rovers Return, landlord is a Fev fan and puttin a bit of a do on Saturday.
