That was a terrible game of one man rugby.
A win is a win but that's all it was, not a great advertisement IMHO.

not a game to attract more fans, but a win is good enough. slowing the play the ball down worked and keighley will be glad of the bonus point. but could have gone either way.

Dont know what game you were all wsatching. It is only second game i have been to as i lost the desire for Rugby after the fiasco over SL. Tonights game has got me back in the frame, it was an intense game that was really hard fought by both teams and i for one cant wait for the next game...Well done to both teams on a miserable night. Kicking was poor at times and the referee seemed to allow the Keighley players to go to sleep on the Fax players in each tackle....BUT.......It was a good hard fought game so stop whineing

Was never going to be a High scoring game, before tonight Keighley had conceded 36 points in 3 games, now its 49 in 4, average is up by 0.25, If they keep that up they're going to do well

To be fair the ref let them get away with murder, as ever for March, and the weather probably didn't help, out kicking game was rubbish, why didn't we put the ball up into the lights? But all that said, I really enjoyed a close hard fought game that was hanging in the balance until the end, and we won.

A proper game of rugby fought out by 2 evenly matched teams. Not a points fest but then it was never likely to be. Keighley played the referee well and yes they did lie on the tackle with the 3rd man concentrating on turning the ball carrier onto his back but fair play to them it nearly worked.

Yes we were poor tonight, but the main reason behind that was Keighley! They came with a plan and they pushed the limits (concerning the ref) which didn't half shut us down. They were fantastic in attack, very well organised and lots of weapons and their scramble defence was especially good. Fair play to them and they'll be up there at the end of the season. Good following as well!

Horseyfax how dare you?! We matched you man for man tonight and you know it, don't be so disrespectful! Just because your top doesn't give you some god forgiven right to think your better than everyone else you know, we showed up tonight and were very unlucky not to get the win! Anyway always one I guess, the fax fans I spoke to said the best team lost,all the best.

I thought Fev were dire when we played Keighley, but then reading every team who's played them so far has said the same.

Maybe we are all surprised at how good they are?

On the night Keighley arguably raised their game and their side contained more players with recent super League experience than ours and therefore i would say evenly matched is applicable given the conditions . but hey it's only my opinion what do I know?

Fair play to Harrison's coaching methods under the circumstances. Mainly disciplined, organised in defence, and with the current 17 and the 17 against Sheffield, we have a very low error rate. Lay the platform first, then play the fancy stuff! We couldn't lay the platform so we were stuck in an arm wrestle for the majority of the evening.

Keighley were so keen to get in Halifax's faces all night. We didn't really have the chance to throw the ball around. Obst was a thorn in our side all night and luckily, we stood up enough to the threat. In the last 5 minutes, neither team looked like scoring, not in open play anyway.

I'm sure the team & tactics will change next week to suit a more fluent attacking game when we welcome the Scorpions to the Shay. In will come Worrincy, White, Barlow Brothers & Bowman on the bench probably.

Ye I'd like to see a Casey/Bowman half-back partnership next week.

We gave you a hell of a game tonight. Came home delighted with the performance even though we lost so narrowly. I thought the ref let an awful lot go tonight. We were laying on a lot, but I thought Fax were guilty of not being square at the markers a lot. I'd rather have it that way though than have a really awful pedantic ref like Ronnie Laughton in charge.

As a footnote, didn't Jamie Bloem once play for you guys? Not sure it's particularly clever for the RFL to pick match officials who's previously played for one of the clubs involved. No sour grapes on my part, I don't think it affected the result in anyway.
