Apparently we're being sent to play in France? Anyone heard anything? By all accounts nothing's been finalised but I reckon it could prove interesting.

Why Fax instead of Batley?

Sounds like a plan to keep Toulouse in the spotlight for the next 3 years to me.

Because the RFL are stupid , they've picked the top 2 league finishing clubs as the top 2 , but used the play off finishing places for 3 and 4

This is indeed happening in what I believe will be known as the French Anglo cup Featherstone, Leigh, Sheffield and Halifax will play Toulouse and the top 3 from the french league from last season with Halifax I believe going to Toulouse. If lets say Halifax, Featherstone and Leigh win but Sheffield lose England will win 3-1 and each team will get £12,000 in prize money but if lets say Halifax and Featherstone win but Leigh and Sheffield lose then the prize money will be split between all the English and all the french teams and if Halifax are the sole winners out of all the English clubs then we will get naff all for our efforts. Very strange but then again this is the RFL

Heard we have Toulouse Away and it 's gonna be between 24th March and 8th April when me and 2 others will be in Sri Lanka watching Eng cricket play 2 Tests!!! We booked this as we thought there were no away games in France (OK we could draw one in CC) after not missing a game there for last three years and then the RFL come up with this!

Gutted to be missing a few night's in Melting Pot et al but hey ho, curry every day, All Inclusive Hotels





, singing Jerusalem (& other songs) getting a tan, visit to the Pearl of the Indian Ocean, a visit to see the Elephant Orphanage and Turtle Sanctuary will have to do. A few rides on the Tuk Tuk's will have to replace the Toulouse Underground and Tiger Beer

How exactly have we qualified for this? Top 4 (5 but Widnes not there) cant be it. Is it via the playoffs which seems rather complicated or some other means? Surely the RFL would have a system by which teams must qualify or is it grab a team that missed out on SL and stick them in a comp? Why is Batley not in there? All seems rather strange to me.

I think someone said it was something to with where everyone finished at the knockout stages.

As it stands now it would be Carcassonne but there are 14 games left so there is a lot to play for.
