Great for Bob, if he has got a chance at SL. Out of these, he is the only one I'm sad to see go from the squad for next season.

None of them except Bob really did much will be missed. Hope Bob goes to SL as he is better than many players there.

With the exception of Bob, as much as the others have played their part in last season, and I thank them for their efforts, its no big surprise is it? Even Bobs departure was looking more and more obvious.

with reference to JG,FW and SB, only Sb gets my vote to be here next season. I think we can and will do better than the 2 vetrans.

Can't help thinking that informing players (some of whom have served the club well for the last three to four seasons) that their services would no longer be required by way of a face-to-face meeting - as opposed to a letter posted through their doors, would have been a classier way of dealing with affairs.

Where does it say that they were notified by letter? The "document" referred to is more than likely a press release of the non-retained players.

Tis a bit harsh, im all for a clear out and Rhino making his mark but thats a bit off.

hope he is kept on in that role.

Dont mean to be harsh but theres quite a bit of dead wood from last season that has gone. Looks like KH is sticking to his word that he is only wanting players willing to put it in week in week out. To be fair though nearly half of those players either shouldnt have been signed or re-signed last season.

Well I do understand what KH is trying to do and we cant get sentimental. He has watched us this season and has ideas for us. Anthony Bowman for example is going to be the half back prodigy and Danny Jones is not needed.

I think this is right, sorry to see Cherryholme go as he tried hard and was a good clubman but he was not hard hitting enough.
Beswick only did it when HE wanted to, not consistent enough for me.

In today's courier, Fieldhouse has an offer, Bannister being talked to this week, Gannon in discussions as a bit part player with other role possible and Frank not playing but still in community role.

KH is not messing about, how long have you lot known he was going to be your next coach?

Never got a sniff of it before it happened, are you lot happy it has, seems like a new broom & perhaps building for the next franchise.

Can't see anyone else other than you guys or maybe Leigh being considered for it.
