When Dean Sampson kicked Bloemy in the nads at the play the ball against Cas at the Shay was a bit of classic pay back.

The ref didn't send Sampson off as he said it was a "Cumberland Throw"
as I recall

From memory, the ref put it on report and the disciplinary accepted it was a botched 'Cumberland throw'. Got away with it.

With JB's reputation the ref was going to penalise (notice the carefull spelling of penalise) Bloemy for attacking Sampson foot.

Would love to see Bloemy referee Lee Briers.

Bloemy has been in hospital with kidney stones this week so not sure he will be able to ref this weekend??

He maintaines to this day that he did not bite him.

I believe Jamie no one in their right mind would bite Lee Briers!

The Sky footage would show different. However, the picture published in the corresponding League Express showed a picture submitted by Lee Briers of his forearm with the 'alleged' bite mark on it. This 'alleged' bite mark showed teeth marks from both upper and lower sets of teeth. The Sky Sports footage clearly showed that Bloemy had his mouthguard in place, so how could there be a full bite mark? There could be one for the bottom set of teeth, but, certainly not for the upper as the mouthguard would be covering that set.

Perhaps Briers missus was a make-up artist
