If this is to go to Premier sports I hope the full cash received goes to the championship clubs and NOT into the RFL accounts

I'm just waiting for the last Championship game to be shown and I can at last cancel Sky lock, stock and barrel after being a subscriber from day 1. That's forty odd quid a month I will be better off.

we too as a family have had Sky for a number of years and watched a lot of rugby league which we have all enjoyed. However with whats happened to Fax we have stopped watching Superleague and are just waiting to see what decision is made regarding match screening of the championship. If no matches are to be shown on Sky from this league then Sky is going to be kicked out of our house.

Wonder how much extra Phil Clarke was paid to personalise his statement yet still shoehorn two of Sky's products into it:

Todays courier commenting on the Sky deal for S/L clubs comments on the amount of money on the table for Championship clubs if Premier Sports gets the nod will be virtualy zero signing off with the rich geting richer and the poor getting poorer scenario.

Another potential kick in the nads for every club outside S/L.

But the RFL have got a good deal from Sky and I am sure that the RFL being the fair minded body that they are will decide to share a good bit of that extra cash out with the Champ` Clubs ......er wn`t they

They have agreed to supply a ream of A4 paper and a lever arch file to Halifax, Leigh and Featherstone. It's a contribution to the next pointless license application.

Come the start of the season we'll all be readyfor the challenge. Face it, we already know how many games to look forward to and who against. And those we can't get to we can watch on that major player satellite channel the RFL have sold us off to. Bet they can't wait to start screening championship games as they lead up to screening the big one - the championship grand final! Will make their investment worthwhile!

And let's not forget the prize for winning the whole "vibrant" competition!

Do you know there has been times the last year or so when I have actually thought about joining the growing number of people who say 'I used to watch RL but not any more'. I have become so disillusioned about the game that I would like to be able to just dismiss the game as a nothing sport that some people support in places like Wigan , St Helens, Hull and Warrington and not have any connection with it as I am beginning to hate RL especially SL.
But I just cannot give in to the bullies and let Fax whither and die though, its in my blood 4 generations going back to the 1930's with my Grandad bless him, what would he think about all this? Would he even be allowed by the SL mafia to talk about a game that existed for 100 years before SL? Probably not.

Nothing i can do about it from my point of view. I am hooked. I could never give up. Disillusioned yes, but so long as there is a "Fax" nothing will stop me from watching the game, apart from death of course.
