Anthony Seibold (Former Assistant Coach at Crusaders now at Mackay Cutters) who I know well and is very passionate about the game and is not one to go making things up has said in League Express the following:

"...I am really disappointed with the RFLs lack of Leadership. There has been knowledge from the RFL´s end for the last couple of years that there have been players in he Crusaders team that have not been paid.....There are a number of players from 2009 and 2010 who need some answers. Even six weeks ago the players were told by a letter from the RFL that they would get that money. as long as the Crusaders had a SL licence. I love the game in the UK, but people are now struggling financially. It is disgusting that the RFL should do this. The players and others have been burnt and it stinks. The RFL needs to come under some pressure...We have been fed a load of lies. The players wanted to strike at the end of 2009 but John Dixon persuaded them not to. "

There must be a independant enquiry in to this as the RFL are a disgrace and trying to hide behind closed doors. Maybe a Call should go the the All Parlimentary Group , League Express, Clubs etc to put pressure on for an independant look at how the RFL have done things and the way they have acted. People should be forced to resign after this fiasco

Gary Hetherington has also slammed the RFL and says the SL clubs are fuming about things. I hope the Halifax MP also asks for the RFL to be looked in to. Get writing to her and ask her what is she going to do.

We all need to try and get our MP , Our Clubs ( Fev, Leigh, Fax, Barrow , etc etc), Trade Newspapers and other influencial people in to forcing the RFL in to doing an independant Enquiry-without no Wood or Lewis involved.

One of the MPs on the All Party Comm a Mr John Mccarthy MP has told me he will put it on the agenda for the next meeting.Since contacting him I have tried to e-mail others but they somehow are not geting through as they come out demon falure. Linda Riordan the Halifax MP is a fax fan and her office is at Shaw flats which is across from the Shay so I intend to write to her and take it in.
Recently we had an enquiry into the governance of football it`s time they had one for the RFL too.
Looking at the website they had one of their jolly days down to Westminster to put an exhibition on how the RFL was inclusive to everyone I think Ikram Butt spoke and there were wheelchair rugby reps `there as well. I presume this was to justify grant money etc.But are they "inclusive " when they do not allow even the basic thing like P&R but choose who they want in plus have differant rules for every division. The All Party group only meets at "sitting time in Parliament " we all have time to write to every member and protest.

The truth is it probably is a bit of sour grapes as I am pretty sure if we had been allowed in we would not be kicking off about the governance of the game. But at the end of the day part of the way the game is being run is responsible for that attitude they have turned the way Clubs operate into a dog eat dog against there own neighbours instead of the transparency of promotion and relegation .The expansion thing beggers belief when they turn a blind eye to what goes on at Crusaders whilst squeezing the lifeblood out of the Championship to pay for it.Wether it`s sour grapes or not we fans have a right to speak up if they wish and demand answers.

Its more than just about Fax or any club. The fact is the RFL have lied and let down people who are owed thousands of pounds. Thes people gave everything to try and make the Crusaders a credit on the pitch as well as off the field going in to Schools, promoting the club etc. I know Seibs did a lot of ground work with the Schools in the Bridgend area. He refused to go to Wrexham as he had bought a house on the lies that Crusaders would be in Bridgend. He took a massive drop in pay to coach the Scorpions. Seibs was lucky to some extent as he a good CV as a Teacher as well as RUgby League Coach. But many other players are facing financial ruin. A percentage of the wage was taken and went in to an account-that obviously never existed. This Pension fund would have helped John Dixon for example with his recent fight with Cancer. Richard Moore has a seriously ill child who lives in a Hospital most of the time. Its these poor individuals that deserve an explanation AND some money. The RFL sent them letters with empty promises around 2 months ago. I honestly believe that Fraud is involved. I honestly think the RFL should be made to face the music on how they have lied and deceived not just CLubs but players and officials.

What makes me laugh is the Widnes supporters that are mumbleing about sour grapes and such and saying we stayed quiet and eventually got our place.
But look how they have been treated during those 3yrs,they were held back for a club that has been rushed into Super League despite having no solid foundation .If the RFL had anything about them they would have put Widnes in when the permit scandal hit plus the lack of players being paid and going bust. Widnes could have been in earlier if the RFL had not protected them so much the whole lot stinks.

Widnes being passed over last time for Crusaders and Crusaders making a pigs ear of it . Don`t you believe that Widnes would have done a better job in Super League this last three years than Crusaders.

That is what Nigel Wood said on Boots last week as it was ther earliest date all parties involed could get together so unless something has changed it should be tomorrow.

The meeting with the RFL is Tuesday but I do believe Wood will not be there , my guess is it will be Rimmer.This man has been used by Wood and Lewis as well he was taken on specificly to do this job as the RFL knew it would be a rocky road. They saw him as a perfect candidate as he sold Sheffield down the river when he was CE and had them merge with Huddersfield then wiped Sheffield out.
He blames the Sheffield fans because he said they would not go to watch the matches at Huddersfield . He also had a dig at the RFL as he said they should never have let Sheffield restart - unbelievable.
