Please do not anybody start to knock or call Wakefield as we are just falling into the RFL trap of clubs fighting between themselves when it is the RFL that is to blame for this lot. Expantionisam failed again Laurel & Hardy after all the money you have pumped in that could have come to Champ clubs to give them a better deal.

Total shambles.You were never going to get in no matter what.Had Crusaders not withdrawn their application then they would have been accepted and Wakefield given the boot only for the Welsh to go tits up later in the year.The two clubs in recent administration have come first and second with Fax and their recent history of solvency,a poor third.It stinks.

Watch the Richard lewis video, he clearly says that in agreement with the RFL they withdrew their bid. The RFL made them withdraw their bid, probably for the £700K that they owe.......

So why did they not just tell Crusaders they were not good enough ? It stinks , Crusaders will be back up before you know it as a reward for withdrawing this time.

Because if the RFL refused Crusaders a Licence they would have to do the same for Wakefield as they are probably similar bids. This way the RFL doesnt have to make a decision and their "everything in Superleague is fantastic" vision is still alive.

The point I was making was that Crusaders didnt really withdraw their bid, they were cohersed into withdrawing it to make life easier for the RFL

I am truly perplexed by the RFL's thought process. I honestly thought and hoped you would be in.

I've nothing against Wakey but they have gone through the same thing that cost Widnes last time around. I just can't see how they think it is acceptable to keep them in this time around when administration was unacceptable 3 years ago. They make the rules up as and when it suits them and they are constantly shown up as being incompetent but it appears that when they are all powerful, they can do as they feel - not what's right.

Try to keep in mind what happened to us 3 years ago. We came back stronger and better - I truly hope Fax do too.
