Indeed even before we went, Mike told us we should behave.
It's as though we are naughty school boys.

There was no need to tell us to behave, and thank you all for your kind words but we always behave, not just at Finals we win, but at Finals we lose.

In all my years, apart from the "Woodie" years, I can not remember any bad behaviour.

You will see that we did just that.

To me and this is only my opinion.

The spirit in which it was given was to show that the club was taking the lead in addressing recent actuall events and issues that could seriously affect the future of the club and that others would be there to observe our fans behaviour.

I took it also as a rallying cry to get behind the lads in a way that Fax are better known for, almost famously so and that is to make a load of noise which we are good at given the chance.

I am a friendly person by nature but normally interact with other supporters very little,the clubs request made me even more determined than ever to be friendly to the Leigh supporters.

Nothing OTT a beer and some friendly banter, a nod, a well played and handshake, or even something simple like holding the door open to the loo for a Leigh dad who was struggling, hands full of his young son which got a genuine "cheers mate" in response.

In the end Fax and Leigh made a lot of new friends and gained a lot of respect from last Sunday and it has continued to grow since then so plenty of positives to take from it all.

It was the 1st time i have been to a final and been legal to have a good few beers (can tell we haven't played in 1 for a while)
