| Miles Greenwood 7/10
White 7/10
nash7/10
patterson N/A
Worricy 7/10
Jones 6/10
Black 4/10 Another ineffectual performance . Just pick up the ball and run hard at them (not sideways) would do .
Gannon 7/10
Beswick 7/10
Cherryholme 7/10
Bannister 6/10
Fairbank 7/10
Smith 4/10
Penky 8/10
Barlow 8/10 suits prop better than the hop skip and a jump sdecond row. But stupid to try the offload then.
Larder 3/10
Clayton 3/10
The scores tell it all . Too many poor performers this week to justify a win.(and we still could have sneaked one) Desperately need to stop picking Clayton but more worryingly is Blacks lack of willingness to actually have a go at the opposition. I think its sit down time with Blacky ....is he up for it this season or not ?
Thought Batley played well and top marks to Handforth.

| Would agree with the above scoring, but would give Gannon 8/10, long stints on a hot day with a lightweight pack on the field.
Fully agree about Blacky, hasn't really performed all season, maybe it's his toe injury, maybe it's fatherhood, whatever it is, he needs to start performing or get him dropped.

| I hate having a real go at players and always try to be fair but to be honest i could never understand how players like Clayton lasted so long at SL level. I dont think i ever saw him have a really good game. He must have been doing something right i guess but his performances this season just further confirmed my beliefs, i mean he dosnt even have any impact at this level and dont get me started on Paul Smith. He is ruining the reputation that he built for us the first time he played for us. I want to remember him then not the shadow of the player that he is now.
I have said all season that our halfs struggle to play behind a beaten pack and it happened again today. Take out Aizue and we lack any punch although to be fair to Gannon i thought he had a really solid game today.
Just out of interest how many players have we signed directly from SL and how many have made an impact over the past few seasons? I can think of Gene who didnt perform bad but his face didnt fit, Aizue who we tried our hardest to get rid of but is clearly the best prop we have at the club. Now Clayton who has had zero impact, anymore?

| Yer got to agree Jim Gannon has proved a lot of us wrong he has been a real grafter this year.
Whats going on with Blakcy? He gave one pass first half when Ryan Clayton had the man right on him and he almost gave them the ball, where has your show and go game gone Blacky? Run at them thats your game.
As for Ryan Clayton and Paul Smith why are they in the first team?

Some less than average signings there. In fact i would go as far to say they were all poor.

| I'm genuinely surprised with how small Ryan Clayton actually is, and amazed that given his lack of height and weight he managed to play so many SL games a forward.
As for Andy Smith....pffft. I warned the Dewsbuiry fans earlier in the season - when they were all suited that they were signing a player with the holy grail of 'Super League experience', that he was absolutely gash. I think some of them would now agree with my assessment of his ability.

Really have to disagree with your opinion on Clayton. Granted, he isn't one of these players who will storm down the middle knocking opponents off for fun, but his defence - when he has played - has been brilliant. And with the reputation we've got we need players like him to help stabilize our defence.
Yes, he probably didn't have the best of games yesterday, but not many did.
But i will agree that we need at least two new props, and we need them now. What happened to that Gil Dudson yesterday?

white worrincy and greenwood awsome again.
our back 3 pack were awfull clayton - useless as bannister - OK fairbank - Poor, gives nothing in attack
Lets get back right for dewsbury

| Played below standard, only 2 subs on the hottest day for a long time, weak pack, but still pushed a very solid Batley who'll finish comfortably in the top 3 right to the last 2 minutes. Ref was equally shocking for both teams, no complaints overall really, very enjoyable game of rugby to watch!
Penky and Worrincy probably the only two stand out performers that seemed to be willing to put the extra effort in.

Worrincy was still getting stick yesterday. I really dont understand what more he can do to shut these people up. I really dont get it. He is without doubt the best winger in this league for mine, id say we have the best 2 in him and White.

| I agree, he makes more yards than all forwards put together and is top try scorer. Plus his defense has improved no end since Noble has arrived. He's always one I look for to see the work he puts in and the chances he creates from constantly drawing in 3+ defenders to bring him down and then a quick play of the ball. When its White or Penky picking up and skooting behind, or vice versa it more often than not leads to something.

| Strong in collision and always manages an offload or two, but possibly the most consistently above average/boring player ever.

| There is a prop in the u23's that is really coming on, IMO. Steele is the name. Not sure if he's quite ready to step up, but he's not far off.
