It is now only a matter of weeks until the walk to Dewsbury so this is a plea to all you good fans to get signed up for it and help the club you love so much. We want to raise the 25k to fund the Under 23s asap so then we can help the club further by raising even more money remember every penny counts. What time is the walk starting and where from mate?

Hi John I hope you are well. We have done a practice walk which took 4.5 hours however we need to check out the bit between Brighouse and Mirfield again which we are doing tomorrow so will confirm it then but it will be about 9-10 am and we will be setting off from the Old Post office pub as they will be opening for us to provide refreshments.

I am sure Neil will post if I am wrong but I do believe that the Old Post Office is opening up at around 7-30am for tea/coffee bacon sandwiches for the walkers they are hopeing to set off just before 8-00am

At the Summer Bash last night Sam & Josh Barlow took a sponsor form round and managed to get us £150 of sponsorship - well done lads. Was really impressed with their enthusiasm to help.

Good luck to all the walkers tomorrow, hope it's not too hot on the way and that the team put in a good effort to match yours. Will see the Pidgeon's at the match and give them a donation, but it's for all of your efforts.
Don't visit too many watering holes and end up late, as I doubt they'll delay kick off for you.
