I fear this game to be honest. A massive improvement is needed on the Sheffield performance if we are to even get a sniff in this match. This prediction says more about Leigh though - they are extremely good this year.

Having watched Widnes against both teams this year i have Fax an easy 20 point win tonight, and thats if Leigh up Their game and you are off the boil a little. If you hit the ground running and play like you can, their paper thin defense will ship points for fun.

Leigh have a few injuries in key positions & alot of the players have a 9-5 job in the week. You never see teams play to the best of their abilities in Thursday night games. I think Leigh will win, but by less than 16 that the bookies quote, plus Fax always seem to raise their game when playing Leigh over the last few years. The crucial factor could be Penky playing (hes 50/50 to play)

If penky doesnt play we wont get close.

If it goes how the season has so far i have no doubt you are right and it could be worse. We have shown a little improvement though in the last 2 or 3 games, if it continues i wouldnt mind a bonus point.
