Good effort and never gave in. WHY cant we put that effort in each week? Attack was good and at times we looked the SL side nor the Dulls. But seriously the defence is a joke and needs sorting. We could have beat then if we could tackle today. As for the Match Officials they are a joke! Childs makes things up and Benthem needs to get to Spec Savers. Even BBC were saying how the forward passes were being missed. 2 men in the tackle strip and play on. Aizue was great. Worrincy another good show and Penky was his usual Jekyll and Hyde with some SL class and some Schoolboy Errors.

More positives than negatives for Fax and something for Nobby to build on especially in DEFENCE!



Least the plastic fans from Illingworth, Ovenden, Northowram etc can watch their team get hammered by Wigan. Bradford Dulls are a good imitation of a SL club if they can only beat the bottom club in the championship by 12 and then with help from the Ref

Thought you were bl**dy unlucky. The decision making was dire and for me you looked like the team who wanted to win more; you played some good rugby today.

Glad to see you mentioned Worrincy's effort, i heard a lot of negativity about him from some of our fans, alright he made 1 or 2 mistakes, one of them a big one, BUT he worked hard all game running in the ball making us meters every time. Also thought Jones played quite well and looks as though he's settling in a bit more now, though White had a good game too. Glad to see the improvements and hopefully we are getting there!

Worrincy was one of the best players on the field. Jones needs to start now instead of holyroyd also

I dont know how many "Drives" Rob took in but he seems to do more work than some forwards! Well done Rob and keep it up. We know he is a bit iffy in some areas but he makes up for it with his work effort for me.

Worrincy is great in attack but defensively poor, I haven't seen enough of him to see if this is a weak part of his game in general but I presume this is why he doesn't play at a higher level.

Don't know how I feel after that . Proud that the team stuck at it for the entire 80mins but feel a bit flat . We made so many unforced errors and even when we got back to just four points behind I was never confident we would go on and win. But there were plenty of plusses. I thought aizue was awesome , penky looked top notch today , apart from that interception, Barlow , bannister , gannon all went well in the forwards. Worrincey , patterson and jones all did well. Give Calland credit - he saw holroyd was poor and bought jones on after 30mins. All in all well played fax

Agree Aizue and Penky were very good. Felt sorry for Worrincy on his wing being isolated all the time with black defending out there and nash being poor. He made an excellent hit in the first half to stop a 3 on 1 overlap - certain try saver. Under the high ball was solid, so not sure on that performance how his defensive game let him down. Shame he has to play like a forward so much, crazy that he's your top try scorer as well! Holyroyd let the side down, Jones certainly needs a starting place now. Thought Frank managed a good stint and looked up for it for once. All in all, good open game, great spectacle on tv, good for SL license to show youre more than capable of competing, decent enough crowd, good times for FAX

Both teams where poor and alot of lost ball.You tried but i think a few Championship sides could have beaten the bulls today.

Bang on there! Alright, Bradford had a weak side out but there is still a huge gulf between the championship and SL. Hopefully this past week will keep us fresh in the mind of the powers that be but the real focus now needs to be on how we move on from here.

Widnes certainly would not have beaten them.

Sam Barlow was outstanding today.

hmmm I thought the effort today was superb. Barlow ran his blood to water and did an amazing stint, Penky looked really class and was the catalyst for a lot of the tries, Worrincy ran well and Cherryholme really worked hard. Never really thought we'd win, but all I wanted was a competitive display and I got much more than that. Not really sure what else they could have done.

Great effort from everyone, very proud. Club did a great job also with the pre-match, for all intents and purposes looked a real super league outfit today.

Lets do it again next Sunday with more defence & less errors and penalties

I think others would like Fev and Leigh.You are near the bottom of the league because you are poor.To be honest watching the game i would have fancied our crap team.

We have been shocking this season thats why we are near the bottom of the league I agree but today we stepped it up a bit ok granted we still made silly mistakes.

To be honest i would have liked Fax to beat Bradford today.You did ok and come the end of the season you may scrape 5th or 6th in the league.I just thought bradford dropped alot of ball and Fax did mate.Anyway at least you can concentrate on the league and NR Cup now.

It was like a trip to the Circus , some quite brilliant individual and group play followed by comic cuts , Bradford got the ' rub ' from the ref with constantly stepping off the mark and a good few forward passes ,

It was like watching the Benny Hill show , entertaining , funny and occasionally cringeworthy

Well done to Leigh against Catlans and i watched it on blip tv.Commentary moaning made me laugh.I may buy him a pint at Widnes for entertainment.

the interception if they doesnt happen were within 6, if we hadnt let them score on that last tackle play donw the wing which i have no idea how he managed to get free, then we are level. poor defending and a brain explosion which penky has sometimes and we were in the game.

Defense again wasnt too good today, the better players and full time players meant they were going to score some points but we could have prevented at least 2 of them tries quite easily.

good to have another derby though, if a game between Halifax and Bradford isnt going to pull the fans in then nothing will, just over 5,000 for a game like that isnt really good enough,. especially seen as though we havent had a game like that for 8 years

Worrying isn't it? Even despite our form - this tie should have pulled in 7,000. Something big needs to happen to re-ignite RL in the town of Halifax. Marketing on that scale is costly. I'm not so sure we'd get an average of 4,000 if we got back into SL?

I think the players can be really proud of their effort today(but yes more of the same every week). A bit smarter we may have sneaked it but we were playing a SL team and we gave them a real good game. With a few more 50/50 decisions we would have been even closer, i mean look at the interception try, how far offside are the 2 defenders out there. I dont think Au Van even gets back 5 yards, where he intercepts is about where he got to. Some really good trys and all of the players steped up. We know we can play rugby and score trys we just need to learn how to defend as a unit.

Everyone had decent games but i think Penky, Worrincy and Aizue stood out for me.
