Afternoon

For anyone interested we are well on the way to being able to present our 2nd £5k installment to the club which will bring the total raised to £10k so a BIG thank you to all who have donated so far. We still have a little way to go to reach this milestone so we continue to ask you all to dig deep and help us to support the club and the U23's. Hitting £10k will be a superb achievement in the short time we have been raising the money (Dec 10) but we will still have £15,000 to find!!

We are currently pushing our Grand Easter Raffle, where the prizes range from an £100 M&S voucher, An Halifax RLFC Exec Box for 10 (incl Food), A Mascot deal and various electrical items. There really are some superb prizes to win. All the money raised will go towards the FaxBuilder Fund. We have been selling them from under the East Stand and where possible under the South Stand. Unfortunately the Trust Board is only small and several have other commitments within the club on match day leaving our numbers depleted.

This is where your help is needed, over the next few weeks at home games we would really like people to volunteer to stand with a Trust Board member in either The East or South Stand and help us to sell raffle tickets to fans as they enter the ground. At the pledge night many people came forward to offer their help and we could really use it right now. It is vital we don't take the foot off the gas and get as many people to buy a raffle ticket and to also support the other events that we have coming up.

With regards to the Easter raffle tickets, they are £1 for a single ticket or a book of 6 is £5.

Come on guys please help us out!! There are enough opinionated people on this site who say they'll do anything to help the club they love!! Can nobody offer an hour before a home game to help us out??

I've got some and with my huge friend base i'm hoping to sell them all



If it's alright with the club i'll try and shift some in the banqueting suite prior to games. Also if someone from Faxbuilder can get tickets to me i'll ask for volunteers in there to sell some. Sure if people do their bit it can be an excellent way of raising money. And to prove i'm not tight i'm even gonna buy a quids worth meself

Thank you Sid for your kind offer of buying a few quids worth it is very much apreciated as it is not about expecting a few folk giving huge amounts of time or money (although we are apreciative of those that do ) It`s about giving the time or the money you can afford as there are nearly 2,000 supporters at Fax if they all bought one ticket jobs done. Plus if you havn`t an hour to spare pre-match how about 15- 20 mins at the busiest time before the game . Please pm me if you can help we must try to keep and to nurture these Under 23s and hopefully we may get at least a couple of James Haleys or Danny Jones amongst them.

i bought two books sunday, not bad prizes.

I've been given about 20 programmes from 1991/2 seasons in very good condition and happy to pass them on to anybody who would be able to make use of them. Perhaps a small donation to the fund in the deal.

I would just like to thank the group of young ladies who turned up to help out with the Pledge/ Raffle tickets on Sunday . It was very good of you to give up your time and if you have the time to do it again on a matchday we would be most gratful.Likewise if anyone else has some time to spare before a match please pm me or turn up at the South Stand pre match.
