Had a nice chat with Malcolm in the club shop this morning. I learnt a lot of positives that are very exciting. It's clear how well the club is run and how much hardwork (unpaid in some cases) is put in.

Pop in the shop they have an excellent range, buy your christmas presents, buy the new excellent shirt. You will be made very welcome and you will learn a lot about the club.

Cost me a bloody fortune so far and the season hasnt even started. Really like the T shirts with the club coat of arms on, i think they will sell very well.

Its cost me a fortune too since making the Grand final but its been money well spent Mal as done a great job with the club shop and is a great guy who deserves a lot of credit. Every one needs to get down the club shop to buy themselves things and things as gifts for Christmas.

yes things behind the scenes seem to be well but could be better and could be making more cash too.

I don't know what the deal is with Fax, but you can get the new shirts on line at xblades

On first impressions, whilst I am not the biggest fan of the new Home shirt, the good lady has suggested that I ask father xmas for one from the kids...

Before I go ahead and do that, does anyone have a confirmed date on the away shirt ?

Also looking at xblades website, there is no indication of the chest sizes for L, X/L etc etc... anyone provide any clues?

Not a clue about any news on the away shirt mate but they suggested that it would be before Christmas. A good guide for the shirt fittings would be to go one size up for adults. Im usually a L based on last seasons Kooga shirt but this time im an XL for the X Blades (...and no i havnt put any weight on before anyone comments).

But it will be in January, with a date to be confirmed.
This may be at the first Home pre-season game.

The chest sizes for Large 44” and XL 46”

We will dispatch last orders on a next day courier on Wednesday 22nd December

Stupid Question but will the Club Shop be open tomorrow afternoon.Making the trip with wife so was gonna pop down and buy some stuff?

Not according to the Shop opening hours on an earlier thread, but it also says contact the club between 09.30 & 16.30 and Mal will open up for you

Just been on club website and onto online shop to order shirts cos don't think will get to Fax before Xmas.To deliver 2 shirts to Wakefield Blades will charge £15 for postage.Sorry but won't cost me that in petrol so Santa can cross shirts off list and will call into shop in new year.

Spoke to Malc yesterday about postage costs,he going to have word with Blades.Have frequently ordered stufff on-line before and been quite happy with postage costs but think £15 to deliver 2 shirts is taking the p**s.Hopefully Blades will see sense otherwise most people will wait till they go to Shay to buy stuff,which is just what we are doing.

More beneficial to your pocket to use shop cos you wont have to pay ridiculous postage charges

I recon its same. Bought somat from shop by switch and 'xblades' came through on my bank statement so looks as though they are getting the revenue from the shop.

Just postage costs on xblades site you want to watch out for.

Surely if you ring club Malc would post for you himself at cheaper rate particularly for a large order?

Malc and the club go to great lengths to keep us buying fans happy.

Malcolm was quite happy to post shirts out to us (£4 was the price he said for postage i think) so just shows how much profit blades would be making!
