It just says "when he resumes his career in 2011" it doesnt say where he will resume it?

It appears by the article that the suggestion is that he will be with us, obviously providing he gets fit! Thats how i read it anyway.

I hope he stays, he's a good player and certainly one of the best centres in this league when fully fit.

A fully fit goddard is an asset to the squad. keep him on board.

Hope Goddard stays, as people have mentioned great player when fit and was just starting to show his best form when he got injured.

Notice from the story that Roby has bottled it and settled for an easy ride at Saints rather than try better himself in the NRL, admittedly he's small for a hooker in their league but he should have at least had a go. Hope that Graham goes, the RFL should be encouraging our players to move out there and become better players for our International prospects.

Am I the only one who thinks Graham is overrated? Never seen him do much against any international team, yes he's a good player in our league but he's a bit on the small side for a prop and though I love to see British players tear it up down under I have my doubts about him.

When Pete was interviewing Danny Jones last night he asked him how exited he was about playing alongside Worrincy and Goddard. Worrincy was there and said he was staying and that Beswick was trining with them so he must be staying too.

Its probably a case of those who signed 2 year deals and havnt negotiated a new one will have to turn up for training otherwise the club could take them for breach of contract.

you answered the question was going to ask about who was there as had been training, now just need the club to announce they are going to be there along with others who have not been announced yet.

All players who are under contract, including the 2 year deal players, will be training. They dont have much choice even if they refuse to negotiate a new deal their old one is still running.

It will be the club who doesn't have much choice. They can't unilaterally change the player's contract, including their salary.

I hope Goddard can get back to his 2008 form when he was excellent. Since then his confidence, particularly defensively, seemas to have taken a battering.

I don't disagree with you Waddy re: Graham, i've thought for a long time that he must do as the coach asks him, or put more defence in that what you notice, 'cos his most attacking weapon to me is his short pass when playing at the line, almost half-back-like. I certainly wouldn't have made him captain, that's like saying you're in the team come-what-may, I do feel his discipline isn't as good as it could be. Maybe we're stuck in the old fashioned world of what props should be, or how big they should be.
