It looks great - I like it. Probiz will certainly like it. It's blue and white. No worries. Right now I'd take that any day over what Leigh and Wigan fans have to look at - shirt wise.

I really like it but we are all entitled to our opinion! The most important thing is that we sell them in their hundreds along with the new t shirts, polo shirts and training tops plus all future accessories. Gone are the days when its just the new shirt to concentrate on.

It was also great to see so many of the players there last night, new and old. Big Dom and Rob were there so hopefully that should augur well for their signatures as i dont know if they are on board yet?

Might sound a daft question but how small are the small, and large are the large etc? Just last season's Medium was a Large as far as I was concerned.

Are the ones the players have in the photos 'player cuts' or are they essentially replicas?

Can anyone confirm that the away top is the same as the home top but black and blue instead of blue and white?

It was mentioned by Mike Riley last night that the original away strip was to be Black but the RFL didnt like it as they said it was too dark when considered in conjunction with our slightly dark home strip (so i believe). However, the club and X Blades are working on a new strip to satisfy those who must be obeyed which i hear, but do not know, is Black and White. Hope this helps.

Have they accidentally given us the Featherstone shirt? First home shirt for a long time that I do not like. It just isn't a Halifax shirt for me.

Nope. Doesn't quite do it for me to be honest, looks a little cheap and nasty and too much like a football shirt. Not a touch on last years. I think that PROBIZ looks rather tacky too across the front, and having the same logos and sponsors repeated in different areas of the shirt looks rather naff too. A bit disappointed really...

Should I buy direct from X Blades or the club?

Is there any financial detriment to the club by going direct to X blades?

Hope PROBIZ are paying a lot for this seen as we'll be playing in something more resembling a PROBIZ branded shirt rather than a Halifax RLFC rugby shirt. Would have rather had another blue/white pinstrip above their name so looks like an extra hoop with PROBIZ incorporated in smaller writing. Also club badge doesn't stand out like it should due to a sponsor being squeezed in underneath. Sure it will look better in person than just looking at photos.

As far as Bristol Rugby concerned, would have looked even worse as no full hoops. More suited to Fev that one.

Thats probably why I like it. But I was really making the same point as you, about adding another hoop above the sponsor. You are right in what you say that it looks like a bill board for Probiz, which is fine for maximising income but if we are judging the shirt on its own merits it is very poor. Xblades have done some good shirts as well like last years Swinton Lions shirt.

Its not the best is it, lets be honest. But..... we have had a lot worse

I LIKE IT.....YES, I AGREE. THE FAX BADGE NEEDED TO BE BIGGER AND EMBROIDED, BUT OTHER THAN THAT ITS A NICE SHIRT.

IT FITS BETTER THAN THE KOOGA SHIRTS ASWELL....NOT AS MUCH ROOM AROUND THE COLLAR.

LETS FACE IT X BLADES ARE NOT UP TO THE STANDARD OF NIKE ON MOST FRONTS.

BUT COMPARING OUR SHIRT AND THAT BRISTOL RA RA'S ONE THERES NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE.

I think it looks cheap, the Probiz name looks tacky and it's not a patch on the Kooga one from last year.

Halifax RLFC have lost the sale of 4 shirts here (2 adults & 2 kids)

The difference is theirs looks stylish, yours look tacky and dated, I was making the comparison because I was trying to illustrate how one more hoop and a less in your face sponsor made the shirts look better.

Also the shirt was not made by nike it was made under licence.

Not too keen on it on first impressions and looks like a shirt promoting Probiz rather than a Fax Shirt. Should have been all hoops (Irregular or Regular). Half Hoops and the top bit blue does not look good to me. I am of the opinion that all Home shirts should be very traditional and the away shirt can be a bit different. I would also like to see a Supporters Top in Cotton as well as this synthetic stuff.

its not for wearing in a nightclub its about being part of the Fax club and showing your support. If it was as bad as Leighs I still would buy it.

I won't buy it as I don't like it because it looks cheap. I don't go to nightclubs, so your comment doesn't really apply (don't really understand why you put that anyway).

I wear my current Fax shirt with pride, as I did at almost all home games, some away games and both grand finals in the past 2 years, as did all the family.

I won't buy that one, as I can't afford £40 x 2 as well as £30 x 2 for rubbish shirts that look tacky - my kids certainly wouldn't be proud to wear them.

I think it's a shame because I think the club are really going to miss out on potentially a lot of money.

can anybody answer me 1 question about the shirt. why haven't we got the co-operative championship chanpions logo like what barrow had last year on the sleave of the shirt?

surley as champions we should have this on our shirts.

PS. i'm in two minds about the shirt. i think its a love it or hate it kind of shirt.
